You guys made me tear up at the end. As an educator it’s been a really tough time. I taught Kindergarten for 15 years and having to do that virtually this past spring was extremely difficult. I was worried about my students and their parents. I was working long hours trying to connect on Zoom all day every day will each of my students. It’s incredible hard to teach remotely. I got promoted to Principal and opening up our small school for in person instruction brings a whole other level of stress. My mental health has definitely taken a hit but I’m praying, meditating, talking about my feelings with loved ones and trying to stay positive. I’m one of those who had found joy and the ability to get my mind off my troubles through your videos. What you do matters. 💗

Personally I've had a bit of stinker through lockdown with my mental health. Sunday evenings watching your vlog along with Eamon and Bec has provided a right treat in an otherwise tough time. Your vlogs gave me the inspiration to go out and enjoy myself this last week as we finished a road trip though Wales. Its an amazing place with so much outdoor activity we are seriously thinking about getting a van of our own to more trips like this! Happy to see your project is nearly finished. Baring in mind you have gas on board can I just offer one more piece of good advice which you may have already done and we haven’t yet seen. Please give some serious thought to mounting a couple of emergency break glass hammers in your bus. One by your bed and another in the middle just in case a fire breaks out and you can’t get out of the doors. Yes, I know they’re not the prettiest thing and probably doesn’t match the aesthetic of your interior but bus glass is deceptively strong and is not kicked out as easily as car glass is... The glass hammers are an item you’ll most likely never need until you suddenly do much like a household smoke alarm but they’re relatively inexpensive and it’s worth if for nothing else but piece of mind you can escape in an emergency ... Happy travels guys....

Hey guys i think your gas should be in some kind of isolation locker with a hole in the bottom that lets any gas that may leak exit through the floor of the van you should also have a co2 alarm.great vids love your energy can't wait for Scotland keep safe.

Mmm, well mice. Just a heads up they are incontinent and pee everywhere so I would re wash all your linen so their remaining scent doesn't attract other family members. Also they apparently don't like the smell of peppermint. I have been using cotton wool balls soaked in peppermint essential oil in our laundry room for a bit and it seems to be working.

I’m really looking forward to your Scottish trip 😁 If you have enough time you really need to get the ferry over to the Orkney Isles. We went for 5 days but wished we had longer once we were there. It’s beautiful, the people are so friendly and the best thing is you can pull up and free camp anywhere. So many beautiful beach spots, we had fires on the beaches at 2 in the morning, cause it still looks like about 7 pm summertime at that time in morning. Total chill trip. We went over with 4 other vans, had a little convoy going on 😊 We went for the summer solstice in July, so you might want to check the weather at this time of year, but if you have your heater sorted then, your good to go. Just check your gas is full before you go as petrol stations and supermarkets are small over there so not sure of the availability. 😁🥰✌️💕
Drive carefully on your trip, no repeat of the Tuc tuc incident please. All that is needed to acquire now is a couple of folding bikes to put in the boot for exploring, nipping to the shops etc. Electric ones would be an help if you can find a manufacturer to donate a couple of them. Stay safe guys and have fun.
Haha you must have missed our 'rad bike' episode a few months back - we have two electric bikes! We're worried about taking them though because they're quite big - but will try fit them in somewhere! Promise to drive safe 😁

I had one of those mouse traps. Caught one, put it under the seat of the car in the trap with the intention of letting it out somewhere on my travels and forgot about it. After about 2 weeks I poured it out of the trap. Sad.

Cheese is not actually suggested when baiting mice ( i have had to deal with them too ) - better off using peanut butter, chocolate or bacon. Additionally, mice hate the smell of peppermint oil. So if you get some, put a few drops on some cotton balls and leave it around the bus.
Well Stuart obviously liked the vegan cheese haha it's what lured his little nose in! Yes for the peppermint stuff - someone else has suggested that! We'l be out of the barn soon so i'm hoping as soon as we go they won't stick around (he usually jumps out when we start the bus!)

Mmm, well mice. Just a heads up they are incontinent and pee everywhere so I would re wash all your linen so their remaining scent doesn't attract other family members. Also they apparently don't like the smell of peppermint. I have been using cotton wool balls soaked in peppermint essential oil in our laundry room for a bit and it seems to be working.

I’m really looking forward to your Scottish trip 😁 If you have enough time you really need to get the ferry over to the Orkney Isles. We went for 5 days but wished we had longer once we were there. It’s beautiful, the people are so friendly and the best thing is you can pull up and free camp anywhere. So many beautiful beach spots, we had fires on the beaches at 2 in the morning, cause it still looks like about 7 pm summertime at that time in morning. Total chill trip. We went over with 4 other vans, had a little convoy going on 😊 We went for the summer solstice in July, so you might want to check the weather at this time of year, but if you have your heater sorted then, your good to go. Just check your gas is full before you go as petrol stations and supermarkets are small over there so not sure of the availability. 😁🥰✌️💕
Drive carefully on your trip, no repeat of the Tuc tuc incident please. All that is needed to acquire now is a couple of folding bikes to put in the boot for exploring, nipping to the shops etc. Electric ones would be an help if you can find a manufacturer to donate a couple of them. Stay safe guys and have fun.
Haha you must have missed our 'rad bike' episode a few months back - we have two electric bikes! We're worried about taking them though because they're quite big - but will try fit them in somewhere!

I had one of those mouse traps. Caught one, put it under the seat of the car in the trap with the intention of letting it out somewhere on my travels and forgot about it. After about 2 weeks I poured it out of the trap. Sad.

Cheese is not actually suggested when baiting mice ( i have had to deal with them too ) - better off using peanut butter, chocolate or bacon.
Additionally, mice hate the smell of peppermint oil. So if you get some, put a few drops on some cotton balls and leave it around the bus.
Well Stuart obviously liked the vegan cheese haha it's what lured his little nose in! Yes for the peppermint stuff - someone else has suggested that! We'l be out of the barn soon so i'm hoping as soon as we go they won't stick around (he usually jumps out when we start the bus!)
