I agree with everything except for the strides. I run 2 spectral, 4 PBD, and 2 regular aurageysur. This is mainly because in a short time you can regain the soul in which you lost as well while it's a good idea to run aura doom, I find myself retiring units easily from PBD skill.
+CardProtagonist I've been playing Shadows on Cardfight Area for about 2 years now so if it's any consolation I'd say I'm somewhat decent. I don't have my own deck yet but that's the first deck build I'm gonna work towards when the money is right
+AldnoahShadow Yep you are right the grade one stride is not so useful because you are blaster dark diablo with has the ability to get your strike in the right time when you don't have grade 3. And having that grade 1 who is able to call a 1 is useful to make a better formation.

So I'm trying to buy all the cards individually, but some of the cards are pretty expensive (like Vortimer "Diablo" was $12 a piece- cheapest I could find). Are there some alternatives to this deck?
Hmm if you don't have a legend deck it might be very difficult to build. It's best that you have a legend deck to upgrade into the Diablo deck. Another alternative is to play the claret sword Diablo deck which doesn't require you blaster dark Diablo. All the best on your deck building - cp

I originally bought my Legend Deck from my locals for only 30 USD. Pretty sick price considering what you get out of it.

Judai64 it is counterblast heavy if you will calculate it
i think the new cray elemental is good to get GB 1 if your opponent is trying not to get you to stride but other than that its good
i only have one question the stride fodder doesnt its skill say to search your deck for up to one 3 card with claret sword dragon in its card name?

The only problem with this upgrade is that it's so much more expensive than upgrading the Kai Legend deck.
Well that is not really true, if you are gonna upgrade the Kai legend deck with The X, burnouts, neoflames, the pricing is about the same.
