- Let's make a Bridgerton inspired upcycle! I thrifted a dress, lace suit, and sheer curtain to sew. I decided to make a short coat featuring flower rosette sleeves and a bubble peplum. The fingerless frill gloves were a very last minute add, but they were definitely needed.

Loved that you added the mitts with the ruffle. That really upped the look. You both did a great job. And the scene at the end brought it all home.

OMG! What a wonderful mistaken identity on your thrift trip because what you thought was a skirt was a great looking dress on you and you should be getting some really great usage out of this garment during your casual time and also with right accessories jaw dropping for evening wear.
The saying I just saw it hanging in the window and I just had to have it works so well here because that coverlet is not recognized as once being a curtain. I really like what you did with the shoulders.
Little mom to be making all those florets did a good job and it show just adding adornments to a garment and it can totally change it vibe.
It so funny because you actually showed the shoulder of my mother of the groom dress. A weekend of celebration and fun plan top with the wedding as main event during memorial weekend is fast approaching.

An ace on the short jacket/coat. 👍👍👍 Loved it. For the dress I feel the white underskirt would look better with the color of the jacket and be a better outfit overall colorwise - the white and grey/silver would be a better color combo than the grey/yellow. It's more the tone of the yellow not going well with the grey. Overall, you and the gals keep being creating and exciting. "smooches"
