Can I tell you why I love Band-Maid. Like you I'm a victim of congestive heart failure with untreatable coronary artery disease. For the longest time I had atrial-fibrulation, which I'm sure you are aware of. I'm a Vietnam veteran and during the Covid pandemic I tested positive for Covid exposure and was isolated and stuck in a small cabin in Tennessee. The only thing that really kept me in touch world was the internet and TH-cam. One day, I clicked on a TH-cam video of Band-Maid playing "Domination" live. I was immediately surprised with their hard rock musical excellence and their command of their audience. I then started clicking on every Band-Maid TH-cam video I could find. Their music made my days brighter. Before I discovered this band, I was ready to give up and just wait to die because of the a-fib. Band-Maid gave me a reason to live every day and see more of them and hear more of their music. I ordered every past album of theirs I could and when no new TH-cam videoswere available to watch, I listened to their CDs. Fortunately, that newfound reason to live coincided with some new help from the VA and with proper medication and heart procedures to eliminate the a-fib, I am much better off. I moved back to Atlanta, Georgia to be near the VA hospital here and have the continual care I need. I'm still disabled because of my heart, but I can live a near-normal life. I have been fortunate to actually attend two Band-Maid live concerts (here in Atlanta and in Minneapolis). Flying to Minneapolis and catching that concert was not something I ever expected to do at my age (75) but, I did so despite several health related issues and it was well worth the effort. I will suggest this, if you ever get a chance to attend a Band-Maid concert, do so. Even if you need to sit in the disabled person section like I did. Their music brings me so much joy and makes every day worth getting up for. -
Try Giovanni. It's got the same sort of vibe. And there are two types. One with vocals (original version) and one that is Instrumental only. Sadly, it's not in the official channel so a little search is in order. :D Have fun! This band is my favorite band of all-time!
The songs already released earlier in the year are just Band-Maid awesomesauce! The six new songs are so tightly integrated and complex, it's going to take a Tokyo minute to assimilate. But I already love Forbidden Tale, and especially The One. 😉🤘 btw - We should all wish a "Good Luck" to Band-Maid's new self-run management company: Maidit, Co., LTD! Will they managing other bands, boost Cluppo and Maiko projects, or tour more internationally? Or maybe they will expand their business interest to other sectors of the music biz outside of Band-Maid. I believe Kanami wants to get more into composing, scoring and production. And as for Miku and Saiki, the sky's the limit for what they'll want to do in merch, fashion and art, etc.. Thx, Christopher!
The one that sent me spiraling down into the pigeon hole (Po!) was the Manners, Black Hole (Live) video. It really showcases how versatile they all are with both individual instrumental styles and different genres. Manners will sweep you into its mood, and you won't be remotely prepared when Black Hole hits. Also on an absolute must-watch for their live videos is HATE?. I'm absolutely speechless on that one.
I saw them in Dallas October 22, 2022! Everyone will say their live performance videos are best and they aren’t wrong, but, some of the music videos are also not to be missed. In no particular order I recommend these MVs: Warning! Choose Me The Non-fiction Days Bubble Blooming I could go on but that’s enough for now!
When you have a cat they own the house and only tolerate you because you provide food and petting. If you are interested in finding out more about the band members I suggest checking out the documentaries on Ohrenje's YT channel. In order they are, Saiki [lead vocalist], Kanami [lead guitarist], Akane [drummer], Misa [bassist], and Miku [rhythm guitarist, vocalist, and band founder] a 3 part one on her.
No God is pure controlled chaos bliss! ♥ 1 2 3 4 parking lot! 😃 Forbidden Tale is like 3 songs blended seamlessly into one! Still suggesting Take Me Higher & Turn Me On from NekoAngel channel awwwwwww kitteh! 🐈⬛ 🧡
I have been to two Band-Maid, two Babymetal, & one Lovebites. And another Japanese band, Nemophila, all here in California. You should check Nemophila out and the band Hanabie, which started out as a Maximum the Hormone cover band.
I think the thing you will find with all these Japanese female bands is that they have these little demonic drummers who hold everything together. Nearly all of them were directly or indirectly inspired by the drummer from maximum the Hormone. Akane and her are great friends now.
Many people have their favorite albums or top 50 songs. But I loved everything they do from Ai to Jonetsu no Matador to Get To The Top. So many D-Tier songs don't have videos

Sensational, thank you so much for sharing 🙏👍🍻
I've been to 3 Band-Maid concerts and they are exactly like you would think they are. But even more!

Lol @3:31 no Kitty 😸
Gotta love cats, doing their cat things.

I know that you like the videos, but try The One from their latest album Epic Narratives. The music is other worldly genius.
Yup "One" is soo good!
Been to one when they were here in the US in 2022. Amazing show. React to "Hate?". You'll like it.
