Hi Nique, thank you for an excellent review. It is thorough, thoughtful, informative, candid, and enjoyable! Thank you so much for all you do! Your friend, David
Nice trick and your review is very good 👍The thing that immediately came to my mind at the end was that it's a shame that the trick wasn't given 5 regular (visually identical) envelopes - with which it would be possible to replace them at the end with the obvious gimmicked envelopes, exchange. A magician will of course find a way to do this in the so-called off-beat. Because of course, after a short time to think about it, the heat will fall on the envelopes (even a double heat - otherwise why should you remove all the envelopes from the table?) ... And before this time for reflection even comes about, there are already 5 regular envelopes ready for examination. In my opinion that would have completed the trick perfectly. Unfortunately, D. Jonathan and N. Mavresis didn't think of it.
It’s not that it wasn’t thought of - we found that during road testing it was not necessary and it was a case of running when not being chased. Of course you can always get an extra set and switch them in if you like, or TCC could potentially offer it as an add-on if there is enough demand. But I would still recommend performing it as.
@@davidjonathanmagic For the price that the trick costs, there should be an additional 5 envelopes included from the start - and there should be no additional costs to have to buy these as an add-on that may be available. For me - and I think for many others too, it shouldn't be an add-on, but a MUST that 5 ungimmicked envelopes are included. I wouldn't be willing to spend another $35 to get these either. The trick is fun & nice, no question, but as another commenter already wrote, the ending ruins it to a certain extent. I have been doing magic for many years and always try to look at everything from the viewer's perspective. And let's be honest, even for a layman it's very obvious that the secret to the trick has to be in the envelopes (!) With ungimmicked envelopes to exchange, this could be avoided and it would be a well-rounded thing that you can actually finish with could amaze the audience.
Great review Nique!

Can viewers be given envelopes to examine if requested? :)
Nope; you’re gaffed to the hilt as far as the envelopes are concerned. 👍🏻
Way too magicky for me. There is way too much heat on the envelopes due to the kicker ending even with audience management.
That's exactly the point! 5 ungimmicked extra envelopes to exchange under misdirection, or off-beat, would have improved the trick by 200%.
@@rolfschullenberg7589 Why envelopes when there are so manny better effects?
The ending ruins it….
