  • My house has foundation problems. In this short video I wanted to share the signs of foundation issues I have seen in my home so that you know what to look for if you're worried about foundation issues in your home or if you are shopping for a home and want to make sure you don't buy one with foundation problems.

My "home inspector" was just a scam artist. He didn't mention a single thing about foundation issues and after watching this video it's very obvious we have a foundation problem.

Yea our home inspection was useless too. Foundation issues suck but are usually fixable. Be sure to get more than one quote. First company quoted us 3 times more than what we ended up paying by going with a different company.

That is the problem people buy a house they don’t know why they buy and the inspector is in favor of the Rialto that’s what I told everybody look for a friend they know about houses and take it with you won’t tell you what’s wrong with the house remember this country money talks bullshit walks

lol inspection is a scam. When you buy, you must be smart and knowledgeable enough to look through these things. our floors are creeking and I am not sure if that's a foundation issue or just a bad install of the subfloor and/or flooring at the time of renovation

Can you stay in a place that has minor cracks on the dry wall and was repaired but still i can see those cracks ? We are renting a 100 year old house and just when we moved in we got to know these cracks. The ball test is fine too looks like someone did fix foundation issues but just need to know can we live here or we should move?

Cracks in drywall are not uncommon especially in older homes. If you're not seeing any other signs of foundation issues and the cracks aren't getting bigger then I wouldn't worry too much. If you're worried about if the house is safe to live in, I can't answer that. Youd need to do some more research or consult a structural engineer.

Icing houses they’re three years old with big cracks everywhere is because they don’t let the ground to get set up in the build a house so fast and that’s a problem for the homeowner not for the bank🥺🥺

Yea home inspectors wont help much with that issue because problems dont show up until after the fact. I guess you have to look into the builder when buying new houses and see if they have a reputation of doing that kind of work

This entire video made me want to vomit- I just had my house rebuilt - now a room has cracks above doors- closets and other doors don't shut- upstairs a corner wall in a bathroom is cracked. Is the General Contractor liable for all of this if that is the case?? We will be in here a year in March.

Sorry to hear that! I'd definitely get in touch with whoever did the work and get them back out and hopefully they can figure out the issue and fix the problem.
