Hi Bro - that was a great perspective on how an “American dream” isn’t just as a easy as shown in movies .I am aware that time is considered a valuable commodity in the United States, and it is important to be punctual or a few minutes early to appointments and meetings- This is same in every prosperous country and everything starts with punctuality and maintaining deadlines - in every walks of life . It needs great commitment to achieve that too 😊 . These simple values needs to be taught to our kids to make our country great 👍

Well said and thank you for presenting the reality. I am in US for more than 10 years and generally living a comfortable life too, but as you said it is not easy nor just happened magically that way. It is the result of hard work and adjusting to your situations. There are so many poor and homeless people here and most of them are natives while immigrants are actually better off (I sometimes buy food or donate clothes to them). But the good part is, you have the individual freedom, absence of red-tapes, very less corruption in the general and basic system and a basic infrastructure that works fine. In that aspect, if you work hard, obey the laws, comply with the regulations, welcome and accept the culture, sure this is a great place to live more peacefully and freely. I really like that way.
There is systematic corruption in this country, yes there is red tapes, plenty. Because ordinary people don't go through it there for not recognizing. There is lots of malayalies in jail, jobless, And many many problems faced by malayalies.

I came here 40 years ago with 3 dollars expecting my elder brother who was already here to take care of everything for me. WRONG. Two weeks later my vacation was over , start working like I have never done. If you want to be successful ( doesn't mean to make lot of money) have a nice family steady job, I mean a balanced life then I thought I came to the right place.Ofcourse I struggled, but if you are willing to go the extra mile then this is the perfect place to raise your children. I believe Kerala is much much better now than 40 years ago. You cannot find a perfect country any where in the world but compare to lot of other countries I believe from my experience USA is number 1 in my book. God bless the United states of America.

I got to watch one of your episode by chance, but really loved the information being shared. After Seeing this episode, I've started respecting your effort in presenting in a very polite, genuine and unbiased manner. Moreover, I too understand the plight of an immigrant in a foreign land. I have served around 6 years in UAE and had missed kerala several times. Though I'm from a well-off family, the comfort and peace of mind that I have today is from the efforts and struggles that I took for the last 15 yrs. Meanwhile, people here feels that life of an NRI is very cool out there. It's all about beaches, malls, party, booze and trips.

പൂർണമായും യോജിക്കാൻ പറ്റില്ല .ജോലി ചെയ്യാൻ എവിടെയും ബുദ്ധിമുട്ടു ആണ്. ഏതു കൺട്രിയിൽ പോയാലും ജോലി ചെയ്യണം . അവിടുത്തെ ലൈഫ്‌സ്റ്റൈലും മൂല്യവും വച്ച് നോക്കുമ്പോൾ അധികം സേവ് ചെയ്യാൻ പറ്റില്ല .പക്ഷേ ആ പൈസ നാട്ടിൽ കൊണ്ട് വന്നാൽ value കൂടുതൽ ആണ്. ഇന്ത്യയിൽ ഒരു city യിൽ ജോലി ചെയ്തു സ്ഥലം വാങ്ങി വീട് വയ്ക്കാൻ / ഫ്ലാറ്റ് വാങ്ങാൻ ഇത് പോലെ തന്നെ പാട് ആണ് . ഒരു Nurse നാട്ടിൽ ജോലി ചെയ്തു സ്ഥലം വാങ്ങി വീടു വയ്ക്കാൻ എത്ര വര്ഷം എടുക്കും. അതിലും എളുപ്പം വിദേശ രാജ്യത്തു പറ്റും .അവിടെ ഓവർ ടൈം ചെയ്താൽ പൈസ കിട്ടും.ഒന്നും കിട്ടാതെ ആണ് ആൾകാർ നാട്ടിൽ ജോലി ചെയ്യുന്നത്.പിന്നെ പല രാജ്യങ്ങളിലും നല്ല ഫെസിലിറ്റി ഉണ്ട് .ഓസ്ട്രേലിയ ,കാനഡ പോലെ ഉള്ള രാജ്യങ്ങളിൽ കുട്ടികളുടെ എഡ്യൂക്കേഷൻ ,family മെഡിക്കൽ ഫെസിലിറ്റി എല്ലാം ഫ്രീ ആണ് .(ഞാൻ ഓസ്ട്രേലിയ യിൽ ആണ് എല്ലാ രാജ്യത്തെയും അറിയില്ല). ഞാൻ സോഫ്റ്റ്‌വെയർ ഫീൽഡ് ഇൽ ആണ് . ബാംഗ്ലൂർ നെ വച്ച് compare ചെയ്യുമ്പോ സാലറി മാത്രം അല്ല ,work environment ,satisfaction ,recognition, വർക്ക് ലൈഫ് balance എല്ലാം കൂടുതൽ ആണ്. politics വളരെ കുറവ് ആണ് . ഹോം ലോൺ വളരെ കുറവ് ഇന്റെരെസ്റ്റ് റേറ്റ് ആണ്. സീനിയർ സിറ്റിസൺ (60 +) govt സപ്പോർട്ട് ഉണ്ട്. പല food , culture ,places എല്ലാം എക്സ്പീരിയൻസ് ചെയ്യാൻ പറ്റും 10 വര്ഷം പുറത്തു നിന്നുള്ള പൈസ നാട്ടിൽ കൊണ്ട് വന്നാൽ ലൈഫ് ലോങ്ങ് സുഖമായി ജീവിക്കാം .എന്നാലും ആരും തിരിച്ചു വരില്ല . പല റീസൺ പറയും, പക്ഷെ ആർക്കും. വന്നു നാട്ടിൽ settle ആവാൻ interest ഇല്ല്ല .അത് അവിടുത്തെ lifestyle കൊണ്ട് ആണ് . നാട്ടിൽ ജീവിക്കാൻ പറ്റില്ല എന്നല്ല ഇതിനു അർത്ഥം .വിദേശത്തു nilkumpol പരെന്റ്സ് നെയും ഫ്രണ്ട് നെയും മിസ് ചെയ്യും .അതാണ് ഏറ്റവും വലിയ പ്രോബ്ലം . നാട്ടിലും സുഖം ആയി ജീവിക്കാൻ പറ്റും .എല്ലാം നമ്മുടെ choice ,lifestyle ആണ് .പുറത്തു പോയിട്ടു അവിടെ ഇഷ്ടമല്ല എന്നു തോന്നിയാൽ നിർത്തിയിട്ടു തിരിച്ചു വരണം അത്രേയുള്ളു .
I lived in UK & am in Australia now. When you say free medical facility are you saying just going to GP ? Don’t know what you meant by free family medical facility though? Have you been to dentist for check up/ treatment or cleaning? If your child needs braces or dental clips do you think it’s free? What about buying medicines in US/ UK/ Australia? If you want a specialist check up how much you have to pay privately & how long you wait to consult a specialist in the government set up? What about private medical insurance in US & Australia and medical Levi?? Have you heard any of those?? Without Medicare card who gets free government hospital care??? How much to pay for a delivery if you are a student / without PR in any of these countries?? Please don’t say anything as you like & mislead others 😌😌
About housing loans, to start it’s easy because of the big loans ( not people friendly or working class friendly) it’s supporting the government economy & helps banks as well . Not because nurses or similar employees are actually capable of paying it off with their average/normal salary. In India you would not get such huge loans just based on your wages again it’s due to the economic status of the country.

If you came here because you like foreign lifestyle, of course you will not have big savings here but you can enjoy the lifestyle. Dont compare buying a house in remote village in kerala with big cities. If you are working in bangalore or mumbai, you need to stay there. Well said and thank you for presenting the reality. I am in US for more than 10 years and generally living a comfortable life too, but as you said it is not easy nor just happened magically that way. It is the result of hard work and adjusting to your situations. There are so many poor and homeless people here and most of them are natives while immigrants are actually better off (I sometimes buy food or donate clothes to them). But the good part is, you have the individual freedom, absence of red-tapes, very less corruption in the general and basic system and a basic infrastructure that works fine. In that aspect, if you work hard, obey the laws, comply with the regulations, welcome and accept the culture, sure this is a great place to live more peacefully and freely. I really like that way.

I came here 40 years ago with 3 dollars expecting my elder brother who was already here to take care of everything for me. WRONG. Two weeks later my vacation was over , start working like I have never done. If you want to be successful ( doesn't mean to make lot of money) have a nice family steady job, I mean a balanced life then I thought I came to the right place.Ofcourse I struggled, but if you are willing to go the extra mile then this is the perfect place to raise your children. I believe Kerala is much much better now than 40 years ago. You cannot find a perfect country any where in the world but compare to lot of other countries I believe from my experience USA is number 1 in my book. God bless the United states of America.

I got to watch one of your episode by chance, but really loved the information being shared. After Seeing this episode, I've started respecting your effort in presenting in a very polite, genuine and unbiased manner. Moreover, I too understand the plight of an immigrant in a foreign land. I have served around 6 years in UAE and had missed kerala several times. Though I'm from a well-off family, the comfort and peace of mind that I have today is from the efforts and struggles that I took for the last 15 yrs. Meanwhile, people here feels that life of an NRI is very cool out there. It's all about beaches, malls, party, booze and trips.

പൂർണമായും യോജിക്കാൻ പറ്റില്ല .ജോലി ചെയ്യാൻ എവിടെയും ബുദ്ധിമുട്ടു ആണ്. ഏതു കൺട്രിയിൽ പോയാലും ജോലി ചെയ്യണം . അവിടുത്തെ ലൈഫ്‌സ്റ്റൈലും മൂല്യവും വച്ച് നോക്കുമ്പോൾ അധികം സേവ് ചെയ്യാൻ പറ്റില്ല .പക്ഷേ ആ പൈസ നാട്ടിൽ കൊണ്ട് വന്നാൽ value കൂടുതൽ ആണ്. ഇന്ത്യയിൽ ഒരു city യിൽ ജോലി ചെയ്തു സ്ഥലം വാങ്ങി വീട് വയ്ക്കാൻ / ഫ്ലാറ്റ് വാങ്ങാൻ ഇത് പോലെ തന്നെ പാട് ആണ് . ഒരു Nurse നാട്ടിൽ ജോലി ചെയ്തു സ്ഥലം വാങ്ങി വീടു വയ്ക്കാൻ എത്ര വര്ഷം എടുക്കും. അതിലും എളുപ്പം വിദേശ രാജ്യത്തു പറ്റും .അവിടെ ഓവർ ടൈം ചെയ്താൽ പൈസ കിട്ടും.ഒന്നും കിട്ടാതെ ആണ് ആൾകാർ നാട്ടിൽ ജോലി ചെയ്യുന്നത്.പിന്നെ പല രാജ്യങ്ങളിലും നല്ല ഫെസിലിറ്റി ഉണ്ട് .ഓസ്ട്രേലിയ ,കാനഡ പോലെ ഉള്ള രാജ്യങ്ങളിൽ കുട്ടികളുടെ എഡ്യൂക്കേഷൻ ,family മെഡിക്കൽ ഫെസിലിറ്റി എല്ലാം ഫ്രീ ആണ് .(ഞാൻ ഓസ്ട്രേലിയ യിൽ ആണ് എല്ലാ രാജ്യത്തെയും അറിയില്ല). ഞാൻ സോഫ്റ്റ്‌വെയർ ഫീൽഡ് ഇൽ ആണ് . ബാംഗ്ലൂർ നെ വച്ച് compare ചെയ്യുമ്പോ സാലറി മാത്രം അല്ല ,work environment ,satisfaction ,recognition, വർക്ക് ലൈഫ് balance എല്ലാം കൂടുതൽ ആണ്. politics വളരെ കുറവ് ആണ് . ഹോം ലോൺ വളരെ കുറവ് ഇന്റെരെസ്റ്റ് റേറ്റ് ആണ്. സീനിയർ സിറ്റിസൺ (60 +) govt സപ്പോർട്ട് ഉണ്ട്. പല food ,
culture ,places എല്ലാം എക്സ്പീരിയൻസ് ചെയ്യാൻ പറ്റും
10 വര്ഷം പുറത്തു നിന്നുള്ള പൈസ നാട്ടിൽ കൊണ്ട് വന്നാൽ ലൈഫ് ലോങ്ങ് സുഖമായി ജീവിക്കാം .എന്നാലും ആരും തിരിച്ചു വരില്ല . പല റീസൺ പറയും, പക്ഷെ ആർക്കും. വന്നു നാട്ടിൽ settle ആവാൻ interest ഇല്ല്ല .അത് അവിടുത്തെ lifestyle കൊണ്ട് ആണ് .
നാട്ടിൽ ജീവിക്കാൻ പറ്റില്ല എന്നല്ല ഇതിനു അർത്ഥം .വിദേശത്തു nilkumpol പരെന്റ്സ് നെയും ഫ്രണ്ട് നെയും മിസ് ചെയ്യും .അതാണ് ഏറ്റവും വലിയ പ്രോബ്ലം . നാട്ടിലും സുഖം ആയി ജീവിക്കാൻ പറ്റും .എല്ലാം നമ്മുടെ choice ,lifestyle ആണ് .പുറത്തു പോയിട്ടു അവിടെ ഇഷ്ടമല്ല എന്നു തോന്നിയാൽ നിർത്തിയിട്ടു തിരിച്ചു വരണം അത്രേയുള്ളു .

I lived in UK & am in Australia now. When you say free medical facility are you saying just going to GP ? Don’t know what you meant by free family medical facility though?
Have you been to dentist for check up/ treatment or cleaning? If your child needs braces or dental clips do you think it’s free?
What about buying medicines in US/ UK/ Australia? If you want a specialist check up how much you have to pay privately & how long you wait to consult a specialist in the government set up?
What about private medical insurance in US & Australia and medical Levi??
Have you heard any of those?? Without Medicare card who gets free government hospital care??? How much to pay for a delivery if you are a student / without PR in any of these countries?? Please don’t say anything as you like & mislead others 😌😌
About housing loans, to start it’s easy because of the big loans ( not people friendly or working class friendly) it’s supporting the government economy & helps banks as well . Not because nurses or similar employees are actually capable of paying it off with their average/normal salary. In India you would not get such huge loans just based on your wages again it’s due to the economic status of the country.
@@pancyn5914 I did not say you will not have any expense in Australia, I know dental treatment is costly, but that is not a day to day expense.I am talking about people are coming with PR visa, not about students. what I told is expense is there everywhere depends on money value of the country.But If someones agenda is just to make money, they can come and stay here for 10 yrs and what they can save may not be huge in Australia, but when you convert to indian RS its a good amount for living.Same thing you will not be able to achieve in india for 10 years. If you came here because you like foreign lifestyle, of course you will not have big savings here but you can enjoy the lifestyle.
Dont compare buying a house in remote village in kerala with big cities. If you are working in bangalore or mumbai, you need to stay there. An average flat will cost min 80+ lakh ,buying a house you cant think off. and interest rate is high ,you will end up of paying almost double. So it is not easy there also and its ones choice where to live, so what I meant is if we are not happy somewhere, always we can go back

For me I came here in usa with out any degrees and still am making Good money and living most nicest climate location. Depend up on your smartness you can grow, Government is very support . I have worked in Ireland, India, UK, Canda, qtar, and now in USA. You wont be able to find any other country like usa for sure. Thats why USA become number 1. You can save enough money if you are smart and remember ' sky is the limit. its true
