The EDP is absolute MAGIC from start to finish! Let it macerate for about two months, it's a completely different scent than the first spray. The drydown is the most most delicious chocolatey patchouli/akigalawood//leather combo i've ever smelled, very similar vibe to Scandal EDP which is also a Bisch creation. Quickly becoming my favourite right up there with the discontinued Van Cleef & Arpels Midnight In Paris EDP which is a huge statement for me to make since i never thought anything would ever come even close to the MAGIC that is MIP!

I swear when i smelled the Kenzo Homme EDT i felt in love and i said "okay that's my smell from today and forever" i instantly bought it. 47€ for 60ml on Christmas sale in Greece 🇬🇷 Great review too my friend ! It's so pleasantly aquatic, a bit sweet, but so masculine and performance is insane. I have tried it on my wrist and scent have lasted for 4 days... I can't wait it to arrive, I do like it a lot

To me, the EDP is more unique scent, but on my skin it doesn't change much from the start until the end. You mostly get leather, at first mixing with the marine feel and later with patchouli. And it's more evening or colder season scent. The EDT transforms way more, and seems to project even more (both are beasts) but you can easily go noseblind on it.
Got both of these today and currently have the EDP on and really like it. I don't have the comparitor scents you referenced but what immediately came to my mind was Tom Ford Oud Minerale - very similar to my nose but the Kenzo is actually more wearable.

This is an insane buy. People dont understand how POWERFUL THE EDT intense is. Puts most perfumes to SHAME!! Only stuff like Sauvage Elixir and comparable ones are stronger. This is worth every penny. 3 Sprays MAX and youll project and waft ALL DAY. In humidity and heat this thing wafts like a pulsating cannon. Get it!
Great review and AWESOME shirt!! I am thinking about pulling the trigger on the EDT Intense. I used to have the EDP. Liked it, but it was a bit fruity and sweet for me so I ended up selling it.
Great review. I’m really into these. They make a great family with Bois Imperiale and Ganymede. The EDP reminds me somewhat of Zoologist Squid, not in the notes but the general “dark marine” vibe, which I’m finding out I like.
Having trouble finding a bottle of either in the US. Sites selling it seem like fakes or they have reviews that they ship the old formula in the old bottle. No retailers like Sephora seem to have it online either.

A co-worker has the bois imperial, found out it was by the same perfumer, and the sort of structure of the perfumes feels similar. Last week I found a good deal on bois imperial and now i have both. Was debating whether to sell the EDT intense and get the EDP instead, is a bit warmer and fuller if i recall.
The Kenzo homme edp confuses me with its bottles. Are there 2 versions of the edp or just 2 kinds of bottles? Even fragrantica has the notes listed differently and yea, what confusion.
I recently purchased the EDT intense, and I am so disappointed with the performance! It is a very pleasant smell, but It doesn't last more than a few minutes on my skin. It is not as potent as my "Bois Imperial" (which I absolutely love!) Do you think that if I leave it to macerate for a month, that will improve significantly It's performance?
something wrong, you can be sure that this Kenzo line lasts a long time, but on my skin what lasted the longest was the Edp and the marine, the Edp spent 24 hours projecting
Either you got a fake which i doubt, or you are going noseblind. Spray it only once far from your nose on your wrist or something and see how long it lasts. Or spray it like twice inside the cap of the bottle and then spray it how you usually do and see if you can smell the fragrance in the cap after like 1hr or two hrs maybe (the smell will stay for literally days inside the cap and it stays potent). If you can't rly smell it well or at all then that's how you know you're noseblind.
Great Video Matt, very thorough. I love Ganymede but when I wore it in Italy I felt that it was quite heavy in very high temps. This sounds like it could be a better option in warmer weather. I just ordered a 60ml bottle in the Notino Xmas advent 20% so bagged for £41. Looking forward to getting my nose on it now 😊
OK I’m back with an update. This arrived today and I have been wearing this evening after my shower. What an absolute banger this is. Easier to wear than Ganymede and more aromatic thanks Bois Imperial. However has elements of both. It is super strong and projects like a beast. I went to the kitchen to make some tea and when I came back to our snug, I could smell it in the air of the room, as if my wife was wearing it. The profile transformed massively over a coupe of hours and it felt like I was wearing more than one fragrance. What a wild but very enjoyable ride. So glad to have it 😀

Possible mate. I really think it might be to do with your nose and how it recieves the fragrance as honestly this is normally as potent as it gets
