Never seize on both sides of the universal joint shaft and polishing it good should make it easier to get off next time is that ujoint unreadable they do make them greesable for sale blue locktite only
What brand go devil is that? I bought one similar with the duck stamped on the side just like that and I thought it was homemade but that looks very similar
It was 30 dollars for the bearing 80 dollars for the u joint and around 100 for the prop. The bottom bearing had no play and wasnt leaking. Ive ran it all year so far and 0 problems.
I’m looking into get one the 23 hp non fnr surface drive just trying to get some opinion on it I read all kind of furms and I like how it’s has not as many moveing parts as the rest mmt just want a sd that I can put a lot of hours on with out haveing to many problems
No, i will go surface drive for my next motor. I got a steal of a deal on this longtail and it had the bad bearing when i bought it. Then i replaced the prop on it and the u joint at the same time. My last one was a 20hp godevil long tail and i never had any problems with that really. They are big lawnmower motors. Change the oil, don't beat the hell out of it and it's pretty good to go.

I think its a 3/4 shaft and its 68 inches long i think.
