Until you're in a country where arranged marriages are common but even there, if you don't wanna marry that person you can just say no, if your parents are understanding enough they'll let you cancel it, so really can't see much of an excuse for this.
@@strawberryshortcake4345they’re not talking about different countries. they’re talking about couples that hate each other and act like they have to be together
@@buckyyyb yeah yeah I'm aware, I was merely just bringing up another possible perspective, because men tend to badmouth their wives in these cultures too, Hating your spouse who you married on your own accord is stupid as hell Just don't utter the words "I do" and leave.
The people who seem to dislike their partners don’t make sense to me…No ones forcing you to be in a relationship…. Like the jokes about silencing women….why are you with someone if you don’t like when they speak and the way that they think. Don’t date women if you hate women. It’s simple.
My take on this is that their only interest is the social status (aka not being a loser) and having frequent sex with someone who is more likely to say yes.
i’ve met SO many older people who talk about their partners like they hate them. “he sees his mates more than me haha!🤣” “would be nice to have some help around the house🤣” “we tolerate each other🤣” like you sound so miserable? no love or affection at all. but they’ve been together so long they can’t imagine anything else
No it's actually so weird. I watched many guy friends of mine go all out on Valentine's day. Like they were completely in love and obsessed with making their gf/situationship happy so then to watch all these middle aged men shit on their wives like they want a divorce is such a strange contrast. If you hate your partner don't stay with them the jokes aren't funny they're sad and embarassing.
Every time ive said "why marry/stay with someone who makes you miserable?" And mention that its not healthy i have ALWAYS gotten that patronizing headshake and been told " its like this for everyone. One day youll learn. Youre just immature. Thats just how life is" Like, are they are so deep in their bullshit that they cant even imagine genuinely loving their spouse and get angry when someone else does. Why just accept misery?
because misery loves company people glorify struggle love instead of learning communication and interpersonal skills there's even a ted talk "why you will marry the wrong person", basically saying to just accept your partner's emotional immaturity and insecure attachment style
Literally. My husband is my best friend, and I actually enjoy being around him and admire him for so many reasons-obviously, I married him. I just don’t understand this sentiment at all of hating your spouse but staying with them. Choose happiness every time
I will never understand why some dads will literally threaten to shoot other guys for looking at their daughters funny yet they want their sons to impregnate as many women as possible like do they want grandkids or not
It just reminds me of when the Maury Povich show was on TV. The episodes where they have teenage girls saying they want a baby and are having sex with a bunch of guys, yet they never had teenage boys on the show too, saying they are having sex with a bunch of women and wanting to impregnate them. Like they're doing the same thing the girls are doing, why not have boys on the show too. Hmmmmm it's as if, society as a whole hates women/girls so much, and let men/boys have passes for things hmmmmm.
because from a dads point of view they raised their son to use a condom and pull out seriously no dad wants their son to be a dad at 16 on a more cynical point if the daughter says no she the boy can force it if the son says no the girl can't force him
no fr, because my 3 year old cousin gets treated like this by his mom. she calls him a "chick magnet" (unironically, and being dead serious), talks about how he's gonna get so many girls when he starts school, and even talks about his "girlfriend" (literally just a random girl that he sometimes plays with at daycare). it's really creepy and disturbing behavior imo, but it's unfortunately very common.
Yeah, it’s weird how accepted that is. It’s also not healthy to assume your child will be strait. Back when I was a toddler, my parents thought that I would date my brother’s friends in high school purely because I’m female and his friends were presumed to be male. Turns out I’m aroace, never dated his friends, and he has female friends
For my neice everyone is the same with her. Blonde hair and blue eyes, and they tease her about a boy in her class she plays with. And this little 6 year old told me one day "im sick of auntie (my sil) saying i have a boyfriend! Barrett is just a friend!" A little girl shouldnt be worried about that stuff!!
@OfficerZ637Just a reminder that this is why you have no friends your family doesnt talk to you and you arent allowed to go near people on a 100 meter radius
They also complain how gay people are happy living their lifes and go out of their way to say "gay people ruin everything" when it has nothing to do with gay people
I love when the straights trauma dump in the form of multiple different fonts and "live laugh love" paragraph format. They're just so extra and spicy like that
People really need to get better at breaking up when things aren't working instead of sticking around for decades resenting their spouse like this. This made me more sad than anything tbh
Sadly I’ve learned in my early 40s that the older people get in a marriage and have kids, the less time they spend connecting with each other and then it’s all about the kids til college. Many couples stop having sex and even sleeping in the same room/bed. They start having affairs but stay in the marriage “for the kids “ even if the home environment (and if this is happening, there’s definitely some tension and fighting at home) is really toxic for any child to grow up in. They’re terrified of divorce and losing half their assets so they stay miserable for the rest of their lives. This is my parents, my brother, an asshole who groomed me who I worked with, a former coworker, etc etc. I’ve seen it way too much and it’s really depressing tbh.
Because that dad was a horny stupid teenage boy at one point. This is true of most men. He knows what that guy wants. And he doesn’t care if he hurts your daughter to get it either.
you've commented this so many times im starting to think you're only trying to convince yourself.. "being gay is a choice and I am not making that choice!!" like grow upppp@OfficerZ637
@@kysim 😂 thats alot of stupidity if you think those statistics arent just a mass of false reports, and its been normalized to abuse men, specifically emotionally, so they likely wont report it. women often get away with shit and if they are caught, its often a less sentence compared to a man's.
As a hetero man that manages men, it is in fact like raising children. It boggles my mind how much of my day is spent asking "what are you doing?, why did you leave that there? Why didn't you clean up after yourself?, why do you choose to not be responsible?
@@TrineDaelyWhy? Why would ANYONE date another person that is incapable of basic adult functioning?!?!?? Like if I was talking to a woman, and she expected me to clean her laundry because she doesnt know how, shes not getting clean clothes until she is willing to learn and do it herself. As a bi girl in a hetero relationship, no the straights are NOT okay. It’s like people can’t grasp the concept of a male bisexual and a female bisexual dating either, it’s hilarious!
I don’t get how these types of guys can sit here and make jokes about how terrible being married is and how much they hate their wives when they were the ones getting down on one knee proposing. Why get married if you don’t even like the person you’re with
societal pressure to get married and have kids; that's literally the only reason these types of men decide to go through with it, despite how obvious it is that both them and their wives would be much happier and better off if they didn't.
My (incredibly abusive) ex husband blackmailed me into marrying him, so hearing that story is crazy to me. Everyone around me tried to get me out of my relationship because he abused me in front of them. So hearing that a family thinks that their story is cute or even normal is scary.
I'm sry for u but no one has to go through that in order to know that right? At this point living such a horrible experience themselves won't change their minds anyway... They're just lost causes
@edayavuz1667 no, I never said someone has to experience it to know it's wrong. I was just saying I have experienced it, but the people around me acted the complete opposite, so it was weird to see. I'd really hope someone wouldn't have to experience abuse to see it's wrong🤷♀️

Can we pls talk about how disgusting it is, when I see videos of literal toddlers of the opposite sex hold hands, and you get comments like ‘Bros a player/has a harem’ is such a weird thing to say, it’s not even a ‘joke’ it’s just really weird 😭
i had some customers who were a young married couple while i was ringing them up talking about their daughters friend. the wife was smiling saying the boy lights up when she (the daughter) is there & they're so sweet with eachother. the husband can only be described as genuinely crestfallen (i never use this word, it's just the only word that does it justice 😭) saying that, "i thought there would be more time..." hearing more details as the wife talks more, & i shit you not, the daughter was not even a year old. LESS THAN A YEAR OLD. they are talking about infants being hetero romantic & all the sexual pressure of that... like, would the dad not be just happy his daughter is having fun in daycare if it wasn't for him already seeing any kind of boy & girl interaction being sexual in some way. there is no other explanation for how sad & worried he was in reaction to an innocent little story.
that genre of pictures of a baby boy (like a literal infant) looking at a woman's chest and the caption being like "lol men will be men hur hur hur" I fuckin hate them so much 😭
Specifically Catholic straights for this story - I was talking to a friend of my parent's and he was talking about how Catholics tend to have a lot of children. His response was "Well, if you have trauma, push it down, because having a child is going to fix everything." My mum laughed. I was horrified.
I was raised Catholic. I’m ex-Catholic. This sounds about right. I think they’re a bunch of sadists who get off on child abuse. They have a bunch of children they probably don’t even actually want and that they can’t afford and then they also force everyone else to (even preteen r word victims) to remain pregnant and I genuinely can’t make any sense of it other than they’re sadists who enjoy abusing as many children possible.
IKR??? Like those instances when a guy would literally shit talk women into the ground and then be like “omg no homo tho😂” bro where was the homo you are just being misogynistic
In some cases of domestic abuse from men to women it's because they're sexually repressed so actually it does have a correlation, not all the time, but sometime yes
@@llamaconiglietto2633 But here’s the thing, closeted gay men are not hating women because they’re repressed, what they hate is the situation that they’re in. Of course this doesn’t excuse abusive behavior, but abuse doesn’t equate to hating women either.
I saw a comment the other day under a post abt men shopping for their gfs the night of Valentine’s Day and a man commented “ ugh, I bought her gifts all for her to just go to sleep“ and implying he wanted her to have s*x w him because of what he got her.. I rlly hope his gf saw that comment
I remember asking my male coworkers for ideas of gifts for my ex boyfriend once. I asked "what do you usually get for your girlfriends?" They laughed like it was a stupid question to ask. Then said "what do you think?" When I asked them if they really thought sex was all they had to offer they were genuinely confused. Like, imagine not caring enough to give an actual heartfelt gift but instead thinking just your dick itself is The Gift.
No. ( And read all of it before you say something. And I swear if I get a " I ain't readin allat " I'm genuinely gonna lose more hope In men and humanity in general 😭😭 )It's because men see S3X as something they're owed. For "being a good boyfriend or husband or whatever and buying you whatever you want or something. Arnt the point of women to have S3X with men to please them or something and have kids" when half the dang time men do the bare minimum for their wife or girlfriend. And when we get suspicious because men LOVE cheating to get as much S3X as possible, all of a sudden we are overdramatic?? And yes, some women take it way too far, but a good amount of us don't??? And then the pull the "after all I've done for you??" Card when we get tired of their crap. Along with the "women need men for everything cuz they are weak or somin" which is funny, because in the wild, men live shorter lives that women! Same with humans, too. Men also very often get k!113d off by the women because they know they just cause problems. Take bees for example. The worker bees are female. And the drones are male. The drones have no stingers, can't do any heavy hive work, and just sit around waiting for the queen to let them mate with her. Similar to real men, huh? The females take care of the kids, Build the hives, make the queens, defend the hives, get food for them all, and the men just take up space. They mate with a queen, then die. That's their purpose, and we acknowledge it in the wildernes, but in humans, we try to swap it up. The woman k!11 the men during winter, because it's just more mouths to feed. Female praying mantises eat the heads of their mate after mating, similar to how if a male jumping spider can't impress a potential mate, they get k!113d and eaten. The men just take up space and be, well, selfish like they are by nature at this point. Lionesses Hunt, protect the kids, and feed them along with keeping them safe and grooming them. Much like most men can't cook and just eat their gf or wives food, male lions just steal half of the dang food from the women AND THE CHILDREN, and attack other males because they are interested in 'their lioness' similar to how men just love to claim women as their own, then proceed to abuse them. And you wonder why there is a rise in lesbians? Because women are finally starting to realize men are kinda useless if they can't do anything but beg you to have S3X with them, and abuse you, so why keep em? And I'm not supporting the KAM campaign ( if ykyk ) but I'm starting to wonder if it was warranted. Yes, it was overly aggressive, but c'mon men are starting to get on our nerves. And wonder how men responded? RAW campaign. Yes, KAM was stupidly aggressive, but that was just straight up illegal on every level. Though, I'm going to say, women do need men to reproduce, nature has made it obvious that men's purpose was to reproduce then die after, so I'm saying men want to swap that up because they are selfish and want power. Though, it's wrong to treat anyone like that honestly. And the factor of men saying S3X is the only way to reproduce, yet if you go back to biology class ( and go back to school fully cuz a lot of men and women are just -1000 braincelled idiots ), you just need a sp3rm sample, and a fertile egg. And I'm not saying all men are like that, because assuming the commenter is male or nonbinary, they obviously aren't like that. But your user just gives the kind of person you are away bud. @@portraitofman2063

i talk about this with my bestie all the time... i HATE the narrative of straight guys being like "ahh women are so hard to figure out" or like these jokes about "what she says vs what she actually means" like just be normal and treat women like a f*ckin person?? it's not that hard!!! just f*cking communicate with your partner? in my experience as a gay guy, women are usually easier to talk to bc they aren't afraid to talk about their feelings (as much) and i feel like you can have deeper conversations more quickly/easily 😭
probably because they keep choosing to continue talking to toxic women, one of my previous coworkers was like that until I + other people started holding her accountable
Regarding that disturbing marriage story, people in abusive relationships and their children are usually going to normalize their situation and reject evidence that what they are experiencing is problematic. I just feel sorry for that family and I hope things work out for them
I heard that the reason for many of these types of posts is because the right to no-fault divorce is relatively recent. Back then, if you fell out of love with your spouse, you couldn’t do anything about it unless they were abusive or cheated on you, so people would make these jokes because they were stuck in loveless marriages. Nowadays, young people tend to look down on this type of humor because we know that if you hate your spouse, you could divorce and it would be for the best for both of you
That makes so much sense!! Also before the Violence against women act was passed in 1993 (coincidentally one mr joe Biden was responsible for that, and i am not trying to be political!) rape and abusing your wife WERE NOT ILLEGAL. So that could also be part of the surprisingly violent tone of those old school remarks!
@dylanrodrigues he was responsible for pushing the bill through congress at the time. He did have allegations against him which I’m not sure what happened. Honestly I just said that as an incidental fact, not trying to bring politics into it! Just pointing out that violence against women was a lot more “accepted” in our society in the not so distant past.
Some states are working on rolling back no-fault divorce laws. I think it was Oklahoma I saw recently that was trying to pass a bill to make divorce much, much harder, which is utterly horrifying for so many reasons.
im a straight guy and i broke up with my gf a few months ago. tbh, stepping back, and not really being part of that whole community of couples has really helped me to realized how f*cked up this generation of couples is, and also my own mistakes. like, can everyone just like... be in a relationship with someone they seem to like. we all really need to work on our communication skills!

As a fellow straight man with a wife, yeah when the pressure came off marriage and children, our parents and grandparents forgot to put in place a new structure, that is why you see marriage fase out and so many relationships go wrong. Now people start doing their own thing till they find someone they are realy compatible with or till they developed. It's realy weird to see, like my niece is 25 she still lives at home has no stable job, no boyfriend, no plans. I am 32 and when i was 25 i had a running business for 6 years and i was a new father... Both men and women need to learn that we communicate different and we need to come to a consensus of what a good relationship looks like without being extreme and teach it to the children in school and literally make a class for relationships at home, at work, we don't do enough of that stuff and let everyone just run into a ravine.
The number one pet peeve of mine is when people say "JUST ADMIT YOU LIKE MEN" whenever they come across a misogynistic guy. Hating women doesn't equate to being gay. Like, don't combat misogyny with homophobia.
I agree but I think a lot of ppl say it to make them mad like, "how do you hate women and like women... you must be gay 😜" bc guys who are misogynistic are usually homophobic
@@Arginne i know, but that's totally irrelevant. im not saying people who are misogynistic are always straight and homophobic, but usually when a guy is misogynistic and straight, he's also homophobic. at least that's the reasoning of the ppl who say that
I know this is not what you meant, but I believe many men say stuff like in this video to seek approval from other men. So in a way, they do like men more than women. Women are the same as cars, guns, and toys that they can put on a scorecard and show off to other men.
I'd like you to know that my brother came into my room just in time to hear "I believe that love is love, even if it is heterosexual" with no prior context. People like the examples on the video always talk about how gay marriages is "unhealthy" but then they would go around and support the most toxic and abusive straight couple relationships or be in a miserable 30 years relationship and somehow see it as more healthy than two guys who love and respects each other and never talking about abandoning their children. Why cant people just be in a healthy relationship or even not feel obligated to be in one?

I like to be aware that statistically, men are happier when married, while women are happier when SINGLE. Yet its the men who always whine about how their marriage is awful and how much they hate their wife. Also when they go on a speech of love when proposing, telling their girlfriends/fiancees how much they love them and how much they changed their life and how they couldnt live without them, but once they get married, they whine. Like, make it make sense😻
It’s because on average women are more mature and know how to cook clean etc. also typically we don’t value sex as much as men. So these men like that they get to live with someone that cooks, cleans, and provides sex.
I think the biggest difference is that women(for the most part) choose to be single while men don’t usually have a choice. Usually those women that are single still can get people noticing them, asking them out or even sleep with someone if they wanted to. If you compare that with a single man usually the man doesn’t have those things mentioned and has to develop more traits to get in a relationship. Also, you mentioned that men say how much they love their girlfriends but after marriage it’s about hate. This sounds similar to when women say how they give birth and all of a sudden they hate their husbands or that the husband changed, can’t this also be said for the men that married those women?
it's cuz men know exactly what to say to get women to fall for them, and then once she's fallen for him, he can switch up. I unfortunately know from experience.
One guy said “ugh I bet you’re one of those lgbtqabcde activists” Like he got the acronym right but felt the need to put extra letters lol. Stuff like that.
12:18 Ironically, this part isn't even true. Silencers aren't actually a real product that exists in the real world. The little pew pew sound you hear in movies isn't actually possible in the real world since the loudest part of a gun is the bullet breaking the sound barrier and the sound of the metal parts of the gun slamming back and forth during operation, not the sound of the combustion of the gunpowder, which is what SUPPRESSORS can hide. They are not "silencers" they do not make a gun silent, in fact, it's still REALLY loud, they just prevent you from going deaf the second you fire it. Although technically, if you wanna get pedantic (which I clearly do) they do make bullets that fire below the speed of sound, and when fired out of a firearm with a manually operated action and a suppressor, it gets ALMOST as quiet as it does in the movies. It's definitely still gonna be heard by anyone in the building, it just might not immediately be recognized as a gunshot. But nobody who calls a suppressor a silencer knows about subsonic ammunition, let's be real. FFS you'd think the sexist gun nut might actually know something about guns but you'd be wrong I guess.

The family photos are a little jarring because, like, as a teacher I have a slightly larger sample size than your average parent and...little boys tend to be a lot louder than girls of the same age. Like, a lot a lot. I actively dislike gendered observations, especially among children, but this one has stared me in the face for years. I think it's mostly socialization - it is developmentally normal for kids to be energetic and loud, but girls seem to be taught to be considerate of others at a younger age, and media aimed at young girls is a little less likely to be...edgy, for lack of a better word. There are self fulfilling prophecies at play - boys are told that boys are gross, loud, and physically confrontational, so they grow to embody these traits. Exceptions kind of prove the rule here, as boys from families that don't subscribe to this post-90s consumer study idea of boyhood usually raise boys with more prosocial traits, though these boys are still influenced by their peers, and the broader culture.
Nope it's just that boys are fundamentally different and far more naturally aggressive. "Gendered observations" just means being aware of reality. Boys and girls will never be the same.
Ah yes, the extreme policing of sexuality towards daughters from their fathers. Honestly, that hits a bit too close to home for me and I wish it was far less common than it is. I mean, you have to maintain your "purity", but if you don't date anyone until you are older then you are a "prude". Oh! And if you do date more than what is deemed acceptable( ?), then you might be called a "whore" or "easy". There's really no winning, and there shouldn't be. Like, do heterosexual men even like women? I wish we could be treated like people who could make sound choices. It really is beyond just asshole behavior and people having more "traditional values", as it's a breach of trust and an act of infantilization. Ugh. I feel like it should go without saying that a same sex couple would better be able to understand each other as their life experiences probably match up fairly similarly. A young man and woman are treated vastly different from society and we have to acknowledge how that can have a major impact on their upbringing.
I mean, generally yes, but this idea can also be pretty harmful if we let it set our expectations ngl. I was raised with less female gender roles than most people, and being a bisexual who's had mostly female partners, I've found that my desires in relationships are both "masculine" and "feminine", and that my female exes have all had invisible expectations of me that they assumed I would understand and immediately be able to fulfill for them just because of my gender. I'm also probably autistic, but... yeah. We shouldn't normalize the idea that finding a good partner will be easier just because they're the same gender.
@@maimtubeTV If you let any wide reaching generalization shape your entire outlook, that is almost always going to be a bad idea. I feel like you're attacking a lot of points in which I am not trying to make. For instance you mention finding a good partner being easier, but I never said that nor did I mean to imply it. I'm more speaking on societal issues, like how women will be sexualized at a very young age by men far older than them and how that can lead to them having some very unfortunate scenarios come up in their life. Or how young men are often not given the same attention as young women, which can lead to them lashing out more and looking for that guidance in other areas (like the andrew tates of the world). Whether we like it or not these experiences do shape us in some ways and having your partner be more likely to have similar experiences in theory should make them understand some ways you may act better than if they didn't have that lived experience. I know this doesn't fit everyone, which is why it's not a fact, just a generalization. We should always treat people as individuals first and foremost.
I guess that’s fair but I can’t really see ever raising a son to be one of the “men” in this video. The parents of the people in this video did a horrible fucking job and should never raise a kid again.
3:58 im a trans boy and i went on an overnight school trip and shared a room with the girls. the boys room was across the cabin and we could hear them clear as day all night long. i don’t know how men came to the conclusion that women are the loud ones.
I'm additionally delighted to report as a trans man that testosterone doesn't make you angry. Or less emotional. Or sexist. Or more logical. Actually I've had no emotional changes at all lol. (The science says it's a nocebo effect, where men who believe testosterone makes them aggressive will act more aggressively. There's even evidence high testosterone makes you more prosocial. So much for the "man cave".)
most women love to sing together songs they love, and I believe it's the only situation when they are louder than men. so i overall agree with this comment
ill never understand the "i hate my annoying bitchy wife" trope. like ok. get a divorce. why r yall together?? i get that couples have their ups and downs, but HATING your wife CONSTANTLY is insane. like what did ur dates look like..............
If you just want people to hook up with, don't marry them. Just have casual relations where everyone knows what's going on. I'll never understand why tf these men are commiting to marrying people they hate.
Well i can explain that for you. There are different phases to a relationship, some people are better at some phases and horrible at others, and the longer a relationship lasts the bigger small problems become. You have to be growing together and put the time and effort in, BOTH, and talk, if one stops it's over. Not sure if you realise but for men a divorce costs half their worth so we are not so fast with that decision like women. Most don't actualy hate their wife but people can do things in the run of the relationship wich makes the fact that you loved that person so much turn it into the worst hate because they hurt you so bad. People will always complain about everything it's in our nature and a mechanic to vent stress.

the way she maintains both serious& sarcasm thrughout the video make me more curious and addicted to her vids. Emily we all love u and god bless you for pointing out all these problems that almost everyone can relate in this society nowadays♡
My ex’s grandparents had a super cute meeting story. She was in the church choir and when he saw he thought to himself “Im going to marry that girl”. Except he was 21 and she was 15. Her parents were 100% supportive of the relationship but wouldn’t have allowed it if “it was any other guy in town”. They married when she was 17 and got pregnant immediately. Now I thought they had a wonderful loving respectful relationship but I was sent for a doozy when I was told that he was 21 and she 15 when they started dating. I had a hard time reconciling my feelings for the grandfather because I have a deep hatred of pedophiles.
Im straight and married and this kind of "humor" is so distasteful, I've never gotten the people that talk like they hate their spouse, that said and not to give any excuses, the guy who stared at his wife when she was chocking on water and then fell asleep again just sounds like a case still being half asleep, like imagine this, you are asleep, the sound of choking wakes you up, you open your eyes and your wife is coughing on the bed with a glass of water, probably says somehting like "I was just drinking water" or makes a motion, you asses the situation as safe then fall asleep again. Like that scenario while a little untactful does not scream relationship issues to me, once i woke up my very heavy sleeping wife because I heard glass shattering in the middle of the night and asked her if she heard it, she said "It's probably fine" then fell asleep again while I made sure we where not being robbed and she barely remembered by the morning
6:04 I HATE the same old "my boyfriend can't cook or clean, he's a baby and I'd never date a baby". Like you couldn't phrase it in a way that sounds more ableist. Like I used to read shit like this when I was housebound and have panic attacks because I was convinced no one would ever respect me as an adult. It's just insane that this is such a common line of thinking/phrasing
The weirdest thing about straight people especially the guys is that 99% of str8 guys will see their female friends as potential mates, doesn't matter how close or long they've been friends. I asked all my straight friends about this and they all agree
Real. Whenever a girl, friend or customer service worker is being nice to them they get a hard on and it's disgusting. I only become friends with gay guys/Guys in a relationship. It's gets annoying to reject every dude lol
@@calvinhoward3808 in the gay world it's so different, we all know it's also toxic but we still can be friends with other gays especially when you're not attracted to each other 😂
I think you exaggerated it a bit at 99%. Like near to 3.9 billion males?? Seriously buddy?? And that too over a bunch of YOUR friends that are with YOU and YOUR other friends. Maybe 99% of guys in your group...not the entire fucking world...geez🤦🤷
Which gets especially weird when they literally have girlfriends, and still 'keep their options open' when it comes to their female friends. Although it really depends on who you hang out with, none of my current guy friends are like that (thank god).

Didn’t mean to trauma dump but yeah I’d say this point is pretty accurate to a good amount of situations.
So many cis men just… don’t like their wives. It’s like they feel like they need a wife and then they spend the rest of their lives complaining about how “nagging” she is and how much of a “buzzkill” she is. But if they don’t have a wife, they complain about that too. Jfc. In the words of Lucy Dacus: You don’t deserve what you don’t respect!
I think it's a social thing, as a man you're "supposed" to have a wife or partner or be successful in relationships so men settle down with women they hate or who they have no real connection to and grow to hate.

The way that "overprotective" dads hate the idea of their daughters dating is ironic considering how often that same type of guy looks the other way when shes being bullied by her siblings. Etc It gives the vibe that its more possessiveness than actual care.
It's *especially* ironic considering that the reason that these fathers are so "overprotective" of their daughters from other guys is so they can prey upon them themselves. It's a more sinister version of the "boy mom" trend that's been going around recently
Usually? They're just aware of how shitty they and their friends are treating women around them, especially when they were teenage boys, and don't want their daughters to be treated the same way. Same goes with mothers. They're also fine with catcalling and harassment until it's their mother, daughter or wife. Because they're not someone's but THEIRS.
If she's stuffed with a "turkey," he wouldn't have made the "stuffing." He would have made the "turkey." A better metaphor would be _her_ being the turkey and the baby being the stuffing.

But is it easier to get a divorce in today's times tho??
Often abuse was not grounds for divorce. The wife and kids just needed to pray more and that would fix the problem.

The number one pet peeve of mine is when people say "JUST ADMIT YOU LIKE MEN" whenever they come across a misogynistic guy. Hating women doesn't equate to being gay. Like, don't combat misogyny with homophobia.

This!!!
It’s because on average women are more mature and know how to cook clean etc. also typically we don’t value sex as much as men. So these men like that they get to live with someone that cooks, cleans, and provides sex.
Its because they are lying to statisticians to prop up their own sense of self-worth despite being miserable

U know I had a hunch that it's wrong I think it's becoming common knowledge now but that's by far not the biggest logical error in their analogies

A young man and woman are treated vastly different from society and we have to acknowledge how that can have a major impact on their upbringing.
agreed
Oh god now I understand why men hate their wives so much, they’re just treated differently poor them 😔

Like that scenario while a little untactful does not scream relationship issues to me, once i woke up my very heavy sleeping wife because I heard glass shattering in the middle of the night and asked her if she heard it, she said "It's probably fine" then fell asleep again while I made sure we where not being robbed and she barely remembered by the morning
the amount sexism people have is absolutely insane 😐
It’s so tiring…
Welcome to the world of all guys
I’m a gay man but I’m also gay for Emily. The hair today is on pointtttt!!!
I ain’t straight but I can appreciate a gorgeous woman 🗣️🗣️
It really does make me sad that so many people are so unhappy with their marriages.
19:29 my dad wanted to get that shirt that said “I have a gun, a shovel and an alibi,” when I was 11….
He dated my mom when she was 14 and he was 20 and cheated on her the week before she gave birth to me. Didn’t mean to trauma dump but yeah I’d say this point is pretty accurate to a good amount of situations.
ARE THEY STILL TOGETHER?? WHAT THE FUCK- 14 and 20 is FOUL.
@@UnneededDrama no they haven’t been together since I was a toddler thank god
@@f.airy.x good
i hope you and your mom are doing alright
@@rikimura_rishi thank u ☺️
So many cis men just… don’t like their wives. It’s like they feel like they need a wife and then they spend the rest of their lives complaining about how “nagging” she is and how much of a “buzzkill” she is. But if they don’t have a wife, they complain about that too. Jfc. In the words of Lucy Dacus: You don’t deserve what you don’t respect!
I think it's a social thing, as a man you're "supposed" to have a wife or partner or be successful in relationships so men settle down with women they hate or who they have no real connection to and grow to hate.
My father once very seriously explained to me in the car all the reasons my mother is unintelligent and boring. Yeah, they're still together.
@@PieMister02 this could be it too. (saw another comment for other reasons) tho i do hope that that midset goes away. you dont HAVE to have a wife and children to be happy and successful
@@e.s.r5809that's awful. My father did that to me, purposely alienated me from my mother, and I ended up cutting him off. He should be ashamed of himself.
The way that "overprotective" dads hate the idea of their daughters dating is ironic considering how often that same type of guy looks the other way when shes being bullied by her siblings. Etc
It gives the vibe that its more possessiveness than actual care.
It's *especially* ironic considering that the reason that these fathers are so "overprotective" of their daughters from other guys is so they can prey upon them themselves. It's a more sinister version of the "boy mom" trend that's been going around recently
Exactly.I've seen that happen. The girl ran away with some broke dude. The sibling favoritism was wild. The dad was exactly like you mentioned.
If she's stuffed with a "turkey," he wouldn't have made the "stuffing." He would have made the "turkey." A better metaphor would be _her_ being the turkey and the baby being the stuffing.
would that really have been better
@@supersoakerrr9000 no, but it would have made way more sense
The problem is noone tries for a "stuffing" 😂

When I first started going out with my wife, people would ask if we ever argue or fight, to which I would say no, to which they would proceed to unironically tell me that there is something wrong with our relationship, that we are supposed to argue and fight...
We've been together for over 10 years. Never been happier 😊
8:18 I guess you could say they put the GRAPHIC in graphic tees.....
HELPPPP FR
10:07 i hate when in tv shows a girl meets her in laws and she doesn't like them or just says they're bad people for x reason, and the boyfriend gets so offended and protective with his family instead of trying to talk it out with his significant other lol
As a Black Queer lmao the sub reddit is hilarious. I've seen some of these posts in the video. Like it's wild sometimes.
The “Peace On Earth” thing is not new. This has been going on for at least a few years and it’s definitely giving ✨*kidnapper*✨
