- Join me on a delicious food tour as I explore the vibrant Jonker Street area in Melaka, Malaysia! 🍜🍡 From traditional Melaka sweets to a cozy coffee stop at The Daily Fix ☕ and a flavorful bowl of Nyonya laksa, this adventure is all about savoring local flavors.
All of this unfolds against the stunning backdrop of Chinese New Year celebrations-think red lanterns, festive decorations, and the joyful buzz of the season. 🏮🐉✨ Come along as I soak up the atmosphere, challenge the idea of who a traveler is, and show that the world is wide enough for all of us!

Great video ❤❤
I’m so glad you enjoyed it!
Hope you had a good time. Melaka food is so yummy
@@travelatmalaysiawithazmils I did, thank you 😊. And yes, Melaka has really yummy food!
On 11th Feb is Thaipusam, biggest celebration in Batu Cave KL and also in the island of Penang. Actually it would be very interesting for you to visit Penang but make sure you book a place to stay because expected lots of devotees travelling to Penang to celebrate Thaipusam. Of course Penang is also a streetfood heaven
That sounds amazing!
@@widerworldtraveler Saw your video on KL Indian Temple, you seems to know what you are taking about. You have respect for others religions and you do your research well when you speak about what is in the temples, even quite impressed with your knowledge about the different deities. Great video!
@@isaaclee1634 thank you so much for your kind words, I truly appreciate them.
Now I'm hungry for some Nyonya Laksa. Didn't know they had a vegetarian store over there. That's awesome.
@@dessin. it was so delicious!
do check out praya lane - the original portuguese settlemtn from 1800s before it was moved to its current location, st john's fort as well as the oldest functioning church of st peter in melaka.
@@iantravels2406 thank you for the recommendation!
Not sure if the old "Mee Suah" breakfast shop is still there. Nearby the Orang Utan shop. You can try it, and then after lunch time is the pork satay.
Thank you for the recommendations!
Try rice noodle instead of yellow noodle❤
@@smjet6998 do you prefer thick or thin rice noodles?
@widerworldtraveler rice noodle most is thin one, normally call "mee hoon" here. Yellow noodle quality not good like type of spaghetti.
