Mallika is not a seedling. It was developed as a hybrid between Neelam and dasheri at Pusa institute in Bharat in year 1971. It's an excellent mango with small seed and more pulp of high density. Fruits can be large at upto 800 gms.
Hello TT, I'm from India.. love your videos .. I think the mango you have shown in this video is 'Amrapaali' not a Mallika. Amrapali and Malika both have a same parents Dahehari and Neelam but there is slight defference in them. The quick one is that identify tell of mango is small or big.. :)
I purchased a few Mallika from you about a week ago, I have to say, these have been the best mangoes I have had this year. the one that was purchased ripe ( I assume it was picked that way ) and one I allowed to ripen in my warm garage. both had the same excellent quality. so at least from your trees, its seems to make no difference if they were picked ripe, or picked mature green.
We've noticed that also. I've heard that at least some Mallikas from the groves in Homestead have to be picked green to be good. Nitrogen is bad for the fruit quality of this variety.
Hi how r u. Could u say about what month does malika blossom in miami. I have a malika tree thsts between 4 to 5 years old and it has never blossomed yet. Its about 9 to 10 feet tall. Thamks.
You didn't cut the mango in a genuine way, cut it paralil long slides dude, don't be burger boy, I am from the motherland of mango farms multan Pakistan, you insulted the mango haha

Do you have Langra, chaunsa and sindhri variety from Pakistan?i will if you can plant best mangoes

No water before flowering or during.Good luck next year!
It needs higher - value of pH 8 for blossoming - use pH boosters…
