I read like this story but i honestly gets me close to yelling whenever i see the MC not telling info to his w9ves that could easily dissolve the misunderstandings
Nah he makes it worse all around not sayin anythin in general, or keepin himself hidden like that, when hes more powerful than a grandmaster he couldve easily destroyed the cameras when he was taking his sweetass time on the phonecall anyways making everything just worse all around anyways, like DOT DOT DOT
at the end there it's quite confusing listening and reading if you didn't understand the context or had a good imagination of the characters. Xiao and Zhao families mentioned were really confusing to hear. Not to mention they had Chinese names so it's even harder to keep track.
Im not gonna lie the MC is just making things more annoying for himself. Also his personality of always seeming embarrassed even though hes a grandmaster.
Tina was foolish she could have easily had a regular dinner and collected his dirty dishes to get some of his saliva it wouldn't be much but it would be DNA
That would work for genetic testing to get a genetic profile but her family intends to use it for genetic research and that would need a lot more material. Even the pin in the can lid was unlikely to provide enough blood for true research. The whole plan was pretty badly flawed from the get go.
