MORE-------St Francis--his figure is repeated in the mountain rock more than once-- the lean back, the waist girdle even the rocky foot projection in harmony with his. The tree on the top left are two hands clapping or praying.. the idea that nature is where God is vs the city to be separate from dense secular humanity is where enlightenment happens and when it does man is in harmony with Nature and vice versa all in heavenly perfection.. there's lots more in this epic work.
