Hi Thank you for your information provided in the video. How many years we have to work as volunteer to get work permit in USA? once we got a volunteer position.
Volunteering is not mandatory for work permit. Your work permit is dependent on how soon your husband gets an i140. Volunteering is something you do while you don't have a work permit

Apologies for missing out on this question. Yes, we will soon release that video too.. But while you are on H4 visa without EAD (work permit) you can also explore studying in the US if possible. Or you can look for a company who can sponsor your h1b next year.. Another option would be to look for cap exempt jobs.. we've made a video on H1B cap exempt.. do check it out.. good luck
Thank you for informative video as always, I am in situation where my wife's H4 EAD is in received state from past 6 months and the h1b petition that was provided is valid till 30th June 2022(H-4's - i94 during application was 30th June 2022), meanwhile my H1B is extended till June 2025 (I and my wife went to India and now got new I94 for my wife which is valid till Feb 2025)and I am in dilemma if we should apply for new H4-EAD since I am fearful that if USCIS considers only my initial petition and gives H4-EAD validity till 30th June 2022 inspite of having new i94 valid till Feb 2025. Any advise would be appreciated.

Can I apply for EAD extension on the basis of current I94 or current visa which will be expire in June. Or I need to wait until I get my I797?
Not necessarily a non profit. But non profits are safer. If you're volunteering in another organization then you're probably taking away a job from someone by doing it for free. If it ever comes up in review it could work against you. We've explained that in the video too I guess

You should've applied for the EAD extension along with your H4 extension itself.
