That's for sure. I grew up flying with my father and I can remember not being able to see over the instrument panel. Dad said I was always full of questions. Then as I got older I remember he would let me take control of the yoke and let me take control the plane. Beautiful memories.
When you said "YOUR DOING SOMETHING GREAT" that brought a tear to my eye. A boy and his dad, Kevin when you are a grandpa, you will both talk about this day. I know you will not forget it. Love it!
Yes sir. There's a whole lot of us that watch you and your daddy flying you and your mom and family all over the the US because we really like all of you!
I can only imagine myself buigging my dad with all those questions when I flew with him back in 1984! I didn't get the chance to fly with him after I was a teen, as he passed shortly thereafter - but I have memories and photos of eating doritos and in the airplane! Love it, great video!
Jared I too flew with my dad as a kid from age 6-8. This was back in the 70's he and my mom had divorced. He flew in every other weekend to Kevin's ole stomping grounds in Rome GA to pick me and my brother up and take us back to Athens GA where he lived at that time. He would give me the controls and let me fly the plane. Unfortunately he suddenly passed away when I was 8 years old from an Aneurism. So my aviation career was cut short. But the memories I have nobody can ever take those away.
I sure hope you're getting another airplane. To have these moments alone with your son who obviously love flying with you are precious and something you'll never have again.
Awesome pilot and awesome dad! Those young years with the little kid voice will stay with you forever! When Toccoa grows up, he will get a kick when he comes back to this video and will certainly get a good laugh listening to his voice! Cherish these fleeting moments. Fly high and smooth landings to you and yours.
Always a pleasure to fly with you guys! As always thanks for bringing us along. That's definitely a good looking aircraft inside and out. What makes it even better is almost all of your maintenance is documented right here as well as the logbooks.
Kevin I admire you so much you're a awesome father raising a future aviator and a wonderful husband Jamie is so lucky to have you. You both compliment each other. Love the channel
Aviation family personified...reason why we love(d) the channel...sad that the footage will soon run out and the channel will fade away with no closure...you will be missed but life goes on...
Kevin, I built and fly a Vans RV 7A. Flew it, (and the cessna I owned for 10 years), with no autopilot. After flying the RV for a couple years I installed an AP and WOW.... I had no idea how hard I'd been working. Best move ever. Love your videos.
Excellent video Kevin. Jealous of your son. Wish I could fly again. Love your videos. Thank you for allowing us to always ride along. Looking forward to seeing what the future brings. Can’t wait to see what adventures you take us along with you, next.
Listen to the radio call, the one guy asked if he was going to be at Oshkosh. Since OSH was July and August of LAST YEAR, this had to have been before that.
You for sure got a sweet kid. Remember my first flight with my daughter when she was 4. Same questions, sky, clouds, small cars and so on. Thanks again Mr 310. Love your channel.
Your son is fearless!! I've never flown in a small plane like that, but I love your videos. Hoping your vids will help me fly in a small plane one day!
For some reason, I didn't get a notice about this video. Weird. Glad I came to your page to check out new video's. Love Taccoa. Thanks for video Kevin. :-)
Very good video. You have an outstanding copilot there. With all the information you give him he will be a very good pilot someday. Being a grate grandparent it is always enjoyable seeing a father and son doing things together.
310 Pilot- You guys have an awesome channel that we absolutely love watching- Noticed in this episode that your son wasn’t wearing shoes. I know it’s really hard to get kids to wear proper footwear just day to day nonetheless when taking them up flying. One thing that worked for us was getting the littles flight suits with matching flight boots. Let’s them be Maverick every time we go up and gives us peace of mind that they’re properly protected. I know it’s not likely to have any kind of incident but planning for worst case scenario is always a good idea. Great Video though and keep up the great work!
Awesome video Kevin! I saw that the 310 sold :( going to miss videos from 1BC once you run out. If you ever need to make more videos, I’m always up for a collab, although 172s aren’t as cool as a 310!
Is it paper rock scissors or Rock Paper Scissors. Lol great video as always. Love it when you take Toccoa he so inquisitive. you have a super cool son and family thanks for sharing.
LOL You son is sharp as a tack. lol Like father like son. :-) No getting around the 100 questions with a kid. LOL They are make associations in their minds of course. You are a super Dad!
Nice Landing and your son was really good. Do your sons show any interest in piloting? I know it's a bit early but you've already given them a head start and you are both ATCs, no small accomplishment! Cheers, Rik Spector
there is no new venture the plane and hanger are sold because of time restraints. they just cant make the time to fly enough to think its worth the cost of owning the plane and hanger.
It's never a boring flight with a young child in the cockpit. He will always remember these moments that you took him flying.

What a sharp young man. He asks good questions. My first flight was with my dad. I’m 74 now.

Some of my greatest memories are flights with my dad growing up and meeting others at local airports. Looks like he enjoyed it. Thank you
Miss flying with my dad!
I miss flying with my dad as well! What a fun life as a child to fly and golf with my daddy.
I sure hope you're getting another airplane. To have these moments alone with your son who obviously love flying with you are precious and something you'll never have again.
The curiosity of children amazes me. How did I loose this fascination of the world. The world is a better place with fathers like you.
It has been outstanding flying with you these last few years. Thanks for taking us along. Good luck with whatever the future brings!

That's a fine young man you have there, it reminds me when my boys were little dudes. You are truly blessed.
What a sweet interaction between dad and son. Loved the video. Peace to you and your family.
So adorable! Massive Dad points for you Kevin!
Brought back fond memories of my Dad taking me on flights...and letting me have the controls briefly.
Nice work dad. Memories that he'll remember.
Kevin I admire you so much you're a awesome father raising a future aviator and a wonderful husband Jamie is so lucky to have you. You both compliment each other. Love the channel
Your Son is Adorable ! I love all the questions he asks, he really wants to know ! That's great.
Great youngster. 🙂Looks like he's going to be a great pilot someday. Hope the family and you are doing well. Take care - be safe.

Too wonderful with the little guy tagging along, good job.
Glad to see you back.Adorable son.
Always a joy to see ya hanging with Toccoa. GO DAWGS!
Man I wish our kids could stay that age. I loved that time, they see the wonder of everything.
Am certainly happy you are back on the air even for a short time.
Listen to the radio call, the one guy asked if he was going to be at Oshkosh. Since OSH was July and August of LAST YEAR, this had to have been before that.
Your kid is so smart and you're a great father!
That kid is amazing! Such fun to hear him ask questions! Future pilot for sure!
You for sure got a sweet kid. Remember my first flight with my daughter when she was 4. Same questions, sky, clouds, small cars and so on. Thanks again Mr 310. Love your channel.
This kid was like me when I was 7. We need more folks like him. This was 15 years ago.
I was 6 when my dad took me up for the first time.
Great to see you flying again 👍👍
That's a big field.! Following the pink line ! Wow he has it all down pat now. !!! What an awesome flight. Great job.

Great father and son time together!
Toccoa is definitely his mother's son! Sharp as a tack!
Thanks for posting! My son does that kind of work in the Air Force so it was nice to get an idea of what he does.
Glad to see you again. Adorable son.
Your son is fearless!! I've never flown in a small plane like that, but I love your videos. Hoping your vids will help me fly in a small plane one day!
May be my favorite video of yours. Flying with my kids/family makes the best memories.
Glad to see you back. Adorable and smart son.
For some reason, I didn't get a notice about this video. Weird. Glad I came to your page to check out new video's. Love Taccoa. Thanks for video Kevin. :-)
Really missing flying with you all the time. Life can only be good with that copilot in your life. Good luck going forward.
Very good video. You have an outstanding copilot there. With all the information you give him he will be a very good pilot someday. Being a grate grandparent it is always enjoyable seeing a father and son doing things together.
So cute. Made my day. ♥️ "Yes Sir" :)
So cute, and very cool to see him starting so early. Nice!
Great Flight .... Smart Kid (!!) Has a bright future in what ever he does .... inquisitive foundation
I just started flying with a simple STEC 50 AP and I concur with preferring to fly with an AP. Your copilot was on top of his game on this trip.
Toccoa - the barefoot pilot. I know he will remember these experiences all his life. Thanks for sharing and best wishes for the future.

Toccoa ...as in Toccoa Georgia ? I did some work there for about 3months back in 2000 , What a beautiful city !
Those 10 little piggies on the dash (16:08) cracked me up! 😆
What a cute lil boy!! Future 310 pilot for sure.
You're great with your son. 😊 Safe flying!
"Get me back on the pink line!" He sounds like a Cirrus pilot talking to the autopilot. ;-)
Looks like some great father/son time.
TYPICAL CHILD, CAN'T HELP BUT LOVE EM.
I have a 6 year old grandson just like him. That rascal can ask you more questions in an hour than you can answer in a day!!!! 😆
Love seeing his little feet on the dash, I want to get my license so I can take my kids on trips like this
"I'm going the wrong way" cracked me up, thanks guys.
Hi, 310 Pilot. Ya got a great boy there. Thanks for sharing! Stay Healthy!
I just want you all know I am new here. Your great with your son. Reminds me when used to fly with my dad many moons ago.
Yo dude, your kid is freakin adorable. Lol his little quips and I things he said had me rolling. Loves his jimmy johns!!! Lol

Awesome video Kevin! I saw that the 310 sold :( going to miss videos from 1BC once you run out. If you ever need to make more videos, I’m always up for a collab, although 172s aren’t as cool as a 310!
Hello from Minnesota!! He cracks me up!!

You didn't need the autopilot after all! Kid's doing great!
Kevin, you are one cool dad!
If that kid says "positive rate" he's hired
Champ 619 at Kenosha! Good times

You need to upgrade your hat now. They are the National Champion Dawgs!
Children of the magenta 😂. Loved this video.
The little guy is the new auto 👨✈️
Great video! Thanks for sharing!
That was easy leveling. I installed a new inertial system in C-130's. You should see us leveling then
OMGILovehim!!!I so miss when my son was that age !!!
Who needs an autopilot?... you have Tacoa!!!
Nice Landing and your son was really good.
Do your sons show any interest in piloting? I know it's a bit early but
you've already given them a head start and you are both ATCs, no small accomplishment!
Cheers,

Wow didn't know about that...i always wondered how jamie is so good on atc and not a pilot...is that their job have they ever said it
Yes, we like Toccoa.
I nominate you as Aviation Dad of The Year.
Great Video Kevin
great having your son on board....but like you, I like to have a sterile cockpit when departing or in the traffic pattern.
Jimmy John’s needs to pay you something for this one. The kid is selling some sandwiches. I love me some Jimmy John’s too!
Fun trip. Thanks for letting us tag along. I've got a 3100 so I wonder what the upgrade costs?
I heard someone call it "the magenta line generation" when talking about glass PFD/NAV. LOLOL. 8) --gary
I was just curious as to won the Lightspeed headset, and also wondering if it was a good headset for a student pilot
I thinking an upgrade is in the works and he will have to change one number of the channel to reflect that upgrade,
Nice flight
They are posting some old videos that were in the "can" earlier...Kev said he would do that. Nothing new on their new venture yet. Mystery.
From the green grass at Sky Haven and wearing T-shits in Aurora I'm thinking this video is at least several months old.
there is no new venture the plane and hanger are sold because of time restraints. they just cant make the time to fly enough to think its worth the cost of owning the plane and hanger.
@@highkicker11 divorce will do that
@@highkicker11 .........where did you hear this...curious?
@@calcobb442 kevin "radarcontact" on american pilots forum said as much in a topic about 1bc being for sale and asking who would buy it
nice video, how many more before the sale?
Love your videos
"flying to the pink line." That's all you need to do. :)
