Honestly what it comes down to for me is if it has a black internals option. I have a gan 11 that I really like, so in order to get me to switch I would need a cube that was equal or better in both performance and appearance. Since I don’t enjoy non-black internals nearly as much, and I don’t expect black internals to make a come back I suspect I won’t be switching any time soon

Hmm… I don’t think it was announced? Probably there is though, have seen a black internal version, cannot be sure if it will be publicly released.

@@somecuber7001 Oh, XD… sub 15 is interesting… I’ll probably make a video on it, but its mostly F2L grind and full OLL+PLL. Also look into utilizing inspection a lot more.

@@TheSuperflip thankssss 🙏 I think my problem is speed or look ahead because Ik full oll and pll and I use efficient moves for F2L but I’m still sub 20😅 I tried becoming faster with cross , should I plan my first F2L pair?

@@somecuber7001 Tbh planning first F2L is decently tricky. Try tracking first. But there are always MORE “efficient moves for F2L,” no matter how efficient we can get. It’s just the way it works. I grind F2L and first pair all the time, and I am only like mid elevens. I have sub-8 WCA single though…

Actually, there are piece design changes. The feet of the corner pieces have been changed pretty drastically, and I can assume that there are also minor changes in other places. Not sure if it fixed the catching though!

@@TheSuperflip maybe but I don't think so cuz I honestly thought back then that for such a big company as Gan is in cubing industry, the problem of catching which I have stumbled upon on the Gan 11 and that a lot of people noticed will be undoubtedly fixed in their next flagship.. and here we are having Gan 12 with the catching even more pronounced, and still present on the Gan 13. they seem to not care about it haha.
it's weirding me out and it's one of the reasons I kinda turned away from Gan for now. my Gan 12 disassembles itself through popping and catches non-stop the looser it's set up. tried literally everything and nothing seemed to help significantly.
completely inexcusable for a top tier cube

i have a doubt that gan 14 maglev us is better then gan 13 maglev uv and gan 12 maglev uv ,yes or not . my opinoin gan 13 maglev uv is best what you think better or not

It’s possible that it feels like the 11 and 12 so it might fix the issue many found in the 13 which is being too squishy and for some reason the corner can get sucked in a bit locking the cube. I am exited for the 14 mostly bc they’re course correcting their cube from the rather mid performing 13. When I say mid bc the wrm is basically a stripped down version of it with better performance
