Your guide was definitely worth having. I've watched a stack of vloggers go to Zhangjiajie National Park and it was so cool she took you to places others haven't been to.
It's really hard to comment on the impact of this elevator because it does destroy the natural landscape, but it also brings a better life to the locals and allows more people to see the scenery
Thanks for the comment, it is an interesting point. The guide was saying that the local people can now use the lift for free now it has been built so it helps to aid their connectivity, but it does also have an impact, I suppose now more people can see natural beauty spots like this, it could help with more awareness about environmental choices?
@@wilkowanders Exactly, because it would affect the overall vibe (the elevator was too modern) and there were concerns about its impact on the environment. Back then, a lot of environmental experts and scholars were against building the elevator, but since it could bring in a lot of tax revenue and boost the local economy, the local government ended up giving it the green light.
As a Chinese, I even didn't go to the last scenic spot you showed us in the video. your video is always great and obviousely you enjoy the China trip so much. actually there is a spot not so hot called "wulong zai" and "Dianjang tai" which are very dangerous. there were some story happened there in history, I didn't see any youtuber visit these, maybe you can visit Zhangjijie in winter. it will be definitely another different view.
I'm looking forward to my own visit to China and I was planning to spend most of my time in their amazing cities. However, this video and your other vlogs have opened my eyes to the vast beauty of China's countryside. Thanks!
Thank you so much for spending your weekend watching my China videos! I'm thrilled you enjoyed them. I have more updates coming soon, so stay tuned for more adventures and insights. If you have any specific places or topics you'd like me to cover, let me know!
I understand, Avatar Mountain has a large summit area, like a small town, with different bus routes. Local people have always lived there and planted food on the summit!! Your Chinese travel program is really great!!
