Pakistan won a thriller on last day of 2nd Test against England by 108 runs #ONTHISDAY 04-06-2001 at Manchester & Level the series.
🏴 2 / 201 & Test Match move towards draw but 🇵🇰 bowlers demolished 🏴 batsmen after Tea.

Wasim and waqar together never lost test series in England, srilanka, India, newzealand, Zimbabwe and Bangladesh. They both drew the test series in southafrica in 1998 where Pakistan was leading 1-0 before the third test. It was a big miss opportunity for Pakistan.
Plus horrible umpiring cost them the series in WI in 2000.
@@talhanaeem4364 , actually twice it cost us once in 1988 where Pakistan should have won 2-0 but it was drawn 1-1. Then 2000 where billy doctrove made a new record of cheating along with Indian umpire jayaprakash which gifted kimble 10 wickets at Delhi 1999.
And they both won the last test in Australia for Pakistan in 1995 and they should've won the 1999 Hobart test as well but yet again the Umpire costs them

Yes Pak could have won the 95 series in Aus.
But unfortunately Waqar was returning from his back injury after 8 months.
Wasim and Mushtaq were brilliant in that series. Imagine had Waqar been at his pre 95 best.
2001 Natwest tri series in England between Pakistan,Australia and England - very memorable series as well..
there was no better offspiner then saqlain mustaq at that time , the dusra man who introduce dusra in cricket world , even today there is no any offspiners who can match saqlain level

In first test umpires gave atleast dozen wrong decisions against Pakistan. In this test I guess it evened out. Tres was out but not given by Shepard in this innings as well. Only noballs went in Pakistan favours.

It was umpire's fault, still wasim and waqar could have got more wickets if DRS were in their playing years.
They would have added at least 20% more wickets if catches were not dropped too.
