    Very interesting setup, with a few surprises. I love watching Ben's how-to videos, smart and funny. Aaron is in the same league, great interview. It all goes towards understanding how Troy is so quick.

    Everything makes sense to me. Mainstream opinion is irrelevant in pro racing *and* passion riding. 🤷🏻‍♂️
    The only thing I dont like is the paint job on the Canyons. Even if its stock, it can still be unique for these athletes. The eyes want to feast as well! 😄

    Troy runs his brakes 'euro' style, front on the left, which is weird, no? In Aus it's usually moto style front on the right on bikes

      @@BarryJTaylor but that doesn't make sense (to me), wouldn't it be better to have both moto and MTB brakes set up on the same sides?? I've both front brakes on the right hand side. Why is it easier to have them different on different bikes. I don't ride moto so perhaps don't get it

      Similar to Jared Graves, Troy raced bmx growing up and bmx race bikes generally run them back to front

    Canyon its turning to be the Best brand i Will tell you why... Their frames are amazing and the prices are unmatched... The same bike from Trek, Giant, etc...costs more 1000 Dollars... Doing well with Matthieu van der poel.. on XC and now Road... Jack Moir on the Strive in Enduro and Before that Florian Nicolai and now this Downhill WC Champion..
    I got to see a carbon road bike from them with very good components aero cockpit and so on for 2100 euros...the same type of bike from Scott costs 3500e...

      Their prices are fantastic. Their quality control, reliability and customer support isn’t. Dealing with a company thousands of km away in Germany over email when your frame snaps is not fun.

      @pendulum1824 I’d have to disagree with you on that one. My frame snapped and the customer service has been brilliant! Only downside is the wait for replacements/repairs but you know that before you buy a bike direct from the manufacturer
