I met Fred Armisen in 2005 outside of the G.E. building, I was a drummer for a punk band on tour and recognized him from his, at the time, only appearance on Weekend Update “mi scoozi, mi scoozi” and took a selfie with him (with a disposable camera), he was very nice. I didn’t know at the time that HE was a drummer for punk bands growing up too. We had all that in common and didn’t know it. He was so nice and polite and when the flash on my camera didn’t go off he was like let’s do it again? and I didn’t want to waste his time I said no that’s okay thank you. He’s a legend
Maybe that's the new alternate format!! Say one out of five episodes is a 'Jam session' - I don't know how much music would be needed - just a new setting for the interviews :)

I ran into Fred once in L.A., he really dug the goth chick named Zuli that I was hangin with down near the Mohawk Bend. Sadly she O.D.'d the following summer and I was the one who had 2 call her grand-mother who lived (apparently) way up in the mountains of northern Maine and who spoke with an ancient dialect of the people of that region, somewhere between french-early englsh-yemmish and swedish Golath era laguage, they took the sad news well, b-cuz they are strong people who endured alot of hardship over the course of theyre lives !!!!!!!
