Do you think Palm Oil is unsustainable in Africa???
In Ghana, the palm branches are used for broom making, the tree itself for palm wine making, the fruit for oil and soup, the kernel for oil, the chaff for making fire for cooking amongst other things. So many uses from the Palm as a whole. It’s also planted by mostly small scale farmers in villages.
    What are your thoughts?

Yes, we have always made palm oil on subsistence basis, not the industrial scale that causes deforestation.

Hi Sweet Beauty Jasmine.I really like how you make us the viewers to penetrate into your Ghana culture in such a very small time while allowing us to travel all the process as if we're with you there. Palm oil use has been criticized for many reasons out of Africa(health issues, possible extinction, etc.)However, without real solutions to improve the life of many of those lovely African women working hard each day to help family and themselves is difficult to put palms survival in first place. Keep doing more of those nice videos Jasmine, we love you! Blessings!

Thank you Queen for showing us the process in making Red Palm Oil. Here they have discovered the benefits in adding it to Skin and Hair products. Some companies are claiming to source it from Ghana.
All these videos are making me want to come to Ghana today. The pandemic has made me cancel twice. I think God if I don't make it there for allowing me to visit at least 10 times. Hopefully I will get my passport soon renewal is taking forever then I will come to be with my husband soon. And of course to enjoy the foods.

Yes Palm oiĺ is supposed to have antì cholesterol properties.it flushes cholesterol out of the arteries.
I saw this on Dr Oz.
May be that's why old ladies in some villages who consume lots of palm oil live up to 100yrs

Uses of palm tree that I know: the trunk of the tree is used as bridges in my village, we get our broom to sweep from it, we use it as mattress, fencing, alcohol, we eat the fatty worms that comes from it, the kernel for oil, the shell form the palm nuts as tiles etc etc

While there's certainly a charm in hand-work the whole process, it looks incredibly demanding.
It would be nice if they were able to get a machine that can pound properly,, maybe nearby farmers could have use for it too, so this community of hardcore troopers can get some respite.
Have you considered vids where you take along folks in certain professions in higher education, to troubleshoot for effective measures? Imagine the algorithmic boosts from the discourse in comment section (yeah, that's definitely gonna include me 😛)
