I hate when they mention "imagine him in d3" i mean yeah he wouldve been good but half the reason he is so good is bc he plays against the best in the country and plays everyday at a big time d1 program. He wouldnt be the same player if he didnt go here
Why do people say imagine him in D3? It would be lesser competition so the stats would be better. Not knocking on D3 because the top programs are still amazing lacrosse, and pump out pros. Also are you referring to Trevor or TD?
A couple of takeaways... kind of love that they ended up in a draw. Wing play is huge and it's awesome that Trevor stays out there some and actually plays. Our son is the face off man for his teams and stays out there as well. Happy to see the best ever college face off man stay out there and play. Finally the respect both TD and Trevor showed to each other before and after the game is what it's all about. We wanted Denver to win but Albany is fun to watch and easy to root for.
It really isn't until college, and up that you have a pure FOGO. Also in some high school levels if you have better all around midfielders outside of faceoffs. You should send your son to some face off camps, top programs are always searching for a dominant face off player. They can really change a game. (As can any position though) But in the end I hope your son has fun playing. My best memories growing up were in lacrosse. If I didn't play goalie I always wanted to do faceoffs. We always had a faceoff gaunlet, and I didn't do to shabby lol.
Eli Arsenault lol yeah it happens sometimes, the refs miss slashes. Lacrosse is so fast paced sometimes you can get away with some things if you’re slick enough.
