I'm surprised I didn't know any of the people in your video. I was a gutterpunk in NOLA from 1993 until 97' when I dumped my boyfriend and decided to get a life. I used to live in the Blue squat on Esplanade; it has since been demolished in 97 I think. Used to eat at the Oaznum Inn a lot; I know what Spam meant when he said that you can never go to the Aquarium or museums, cause all you've got is $7. So true. I never went once. It was all about getting high and being FREE. It was hard.

Sorry it took me so long to reply!! I definitely remember Maus!!! And Teacher sounds familiar, but I can't place his face. But Maus, yes! Do you remember Aedh? (Sounds like Ay-da?) I was known as Molly, my real name. Mike & Molly, that was me and my bf at the time. Also knew Remy, lots of the tarot card readers. Mike and Remy were card readers. I also remember Bonnie and Pilot. Knew Rat who did hair weavings....

Hi Boo, I don't recall your name, but maybe you remember Mike & Molly? I am Molly. We knew Maus and Aedh (pronounced Ay-duh), Flipper, Malachai, Remmy, gosh, I can't recall many any more. We squatted in the Blue House on Esplanade. I also remember Bonnie, Brian & Janelle and their little son, Drake and Cin, Rat..... Sandman... Any of them sound familiar?

was the blue house the old plantation looking house in two parts, across the street from the bodega? Like one block out of the french quarter? I remember the floors were half rotten. I seem to remember multiple people falling through the floor. Was out there in 1993 & 1994. Some of these names seem familiar. I was there with Chad, Robin, Stinky (Tim), Angie and Stewart. Memories.
