I do like the fact they made this one have double jointed elbows that was minus with the first one! The mask looks like the og party city masks from the early 2000s.. other then that I’d still get this before the price ranks up
I almost skipped on this due to complaining I have seen about the sculpt. Im glad I got it though. Its a great figure. I think its the hair that throws the entire look off. They seem to have given him 2018 hair instead of Halloween 2 hair. If they gave him accurate Halloween 2 hair it would be one of the best Shape figures.
I got mine i like it alot but i went from One:12 to 1/6 Scales Myers now.The last Mezco im going to get is Texas Chainsaw Massacre Leatherface!💯💯💯

He’s now starting to ship? He’s been out for nearly a month now man. I even seen him for 80 shipped on eBay and NOT selling. Maybe if this was 40-50 I’d be interested and I’d still second guess it. They’re just too tiny.
Entertainment Earth just started shipping out this guy about 2 weeks ago, some places got stock later than others

Don’t tell that to mezco fanboys. They always defend it. My 20$ neca figures look ten times better and aren’t tiny little midgets either.
@@jakea75 I'm positive Spot would have a problem with you using the word 'midget' here.
As someone who owns both NECA and Mezco Michael Myers releases ( H2 1981) from both toy companies, I can confidently say the Mezco release is vastly superior in almost every single measurement possible. Though I do agree that the Mezco Myers head sculpts definitely aren't a 1/1 accurate head sculpt , but everything else (the body... especially the the articulation, soft goods, the accessories) surpasses Neca's release of the same figure.
For a $30 price point, the NECA release does what it needs to do to be considered a decent figure, though the articulation is terrible across NECA'S entire toy line, but it's a much much cheaper plastic being used, which is totally understandable for a consumer friendly price point.
Make no mistake though, other than Mezco doing it's own interpretation of this figure, it's a very, very solid release imo. Again, I own both lines, and both releases of the same figure.... Mezco did a solid job here imo.

Mezco dropped the ball on this one. That bloody one, the eye wholes are way to big. Im fine with the neca one.
The scalpel that is separate from the attached scalpel to his hand, is included in order for the collector to be able to do his famous walking pose where we is holding his scalpel out in front of him from the exact movie this figure is from. It might not be absolutely "necessary" but collectors who intend on posing their figure in that pose or scene, I'd imagine it's certainly a welcomed addition. And most collectors will tell you, More options (hands, accessories) are typically always welcomed, as opposed to less, especially when the price point is as expensive as some Mezcos are, I see absolutely no issue with having more options, especially with hands and accessories 💯💯

PSA if you missed out on the 78, and like me were only holding back because of missing the classic knife, the NECA accessories work perfectly with him.
He also has a hand specifically for the second scalplel so that he can hold it normally

This is a decent looking Michael Myers figure, despite some issues. I can deal with the aforementioned problems aside from the hair, which is the biggest culprit. It definitely throws the head sculpt off. On the plus side, Mezco included some nice accessories as they always do. I like the fact that the figure comes with multiple head sculpts. I appreciate the fact that both lanterns have a light up option. However, I much prefer the Mezco One 12 Halloween version of Michael Myers when compared to this one, which I bought around one year ago. It looks better than this version overall and it's more accurate as well. That's the thing with collectibles. Initially, you decide to sell something that you no longer want. Later down the road, you realize that you regret selling it to begin with. You try to buy it again, only for the price to increase. That's just the way that it is unfortunately. I'm sorry, but I think this figure is terrible... Everything is wrong about the likeness. The mask is too plain white. The hair is the wrong shape and colour. The coveralls are the wrong colour and the blood splatters look like paintball marks. This does not look anything like 81 Myers. Mezco has missed the mark by a mile with this one.
