FFR40!!!! This is what I’ve been waiting for for 20 years!!!! Yaaassss!!! Ej20/25 engine issues was my problem with the 818. Coupe mk3 is a great option too! Decisions!
I’m doing an AVIAD dry sump right now on my Coupe-R with a Ford Performance 363. I got a mock-up pump from Stephanie at AVIAD and I’m currently changing the accessory drive to finalize the pump and drive gear location. I’ll post photos, etc on my build thread when I get it finished so you can get an idea of how it can work if you’re running a 30w base block. My FFR forum name is Jphoenix. Probably have info in a week or so as parts come in.
So cool hearing this history! I was just at Forte last fall with my Challenge car and had John George’s and mine next to each other again. Both built by Mark Doughterty. I am so lucky to have one of these cars. I still actively race mine in HPDE and time trials.
Hoping for a Daytona Gen 4.... Too many taller guys unable to fit comfortably for that long 4 hour drive. Build the car that fits a 6 foot 7 guy and 260 pounds. Most NFL, NBA players do NOT fit in your car .... That cross brace over the shin bones between ankles and knees has to be altered. its a ankle trap??? The wheelbase should be increased to 97 inches. Make the car 1.5 inches wider...... No room for 3 pedals and 1 foot rest ........The existing center console between passengers should be decreased by 4 inches. The dashboard should be redesigned to incorporate a taller center hill. so that the gauges, switches (WITH LIGHTS) and ventilation fit better. The exterior mirrors are designed for shrimps... make them larger and taller. ... The F1 car mirror is 10 inches wide.

I was surprised of what I've learned just by listening to John. Biggest takeaway, dry-sump if you're doing lots of track time. Thanks guys 👍
