Good vid, can i ask if you are at a site with mains hook up should you just be connecting to this if you need to use the 3pin sockets?

Hi Craig, the 3-pin sockets won't work unless you're connected to the mains hook up. They won't work from the leisure battery.

Hi Craig, It all depends on the battery and the charging equipment that's connected to the battery. If it's a good-quality lithium battery or a good-quality lead-acid battery with a good solar regulator and charger, it will be fine.

can i charge my battery at home, by plugging it into a battery charger and plugging that into house ?

Hi I'm new to caravaning and I need a new leisure battery but I'm thinking of have a solar panel fitted soon do I need a normal battery or the one with extra solar charging connections?

Hi there, thanks for getting in touch. You just need a normal leisure battery installed in your caravan. When the solar panel is installed, the panel will be fixed to the roof and connected to a solar controller. This controller will then be connected to your leisure battery and control how much power is sent to the battery from the solar panel.
