    Took me forever to figure this out but if you use URP (Universal Render Pipeline) then change the space to Absolute World (not World as shown in the video)

    Thanks for this, Nicely Done! Any idea of how to implement this in multiple directions?

    • @AETutsVids
      @AETutsVids  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      you can easily make it on x and z axis, but you have to remember that going back on either of them will make the tiles go down again

      @@AETutsVids Ah, true. I was able to switch the effect directions around via the split node if anyone's curious. Thanks again!

    Amazing tutorial!
    I am doing some AR work and will try to see if I can use the AR Camera as a point of reference to have the AR content spawn this way as well. Would look super cool!

      should be able to do a very similar setup using a 2D shader graph

    Hello there!!
    I managed to do the whole thing and it is super great!!!
    But I am trying to do it with multiple characters/objects but I fail.
    For example, I put the script on two players, but the effect happens only with the first one.

    • @AETutsVids
      @AETutsVids  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yea I don't think you can have a dynamic solution to this however you can have 2 or whatever fixed number of players and your script will need to update all the points for each player and get the max of them

    Does this only work for LWRP? I've tried to do it with the HDRP but it's not working like in your video.

    • @AETutsVids
      @AETutsVids  5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      It should work just fine, the only difference I believe is the transformation node, it is really weird and there are two options, either use object space for the position node but you have to convert it manually by adding the position of the object or use matrix multiplication to do the transformation from world to object

    • @Acetix
      @Acetix 5 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@AETutsVids Thanks. It was easier than I expected. I've found a solution for the transform node here: forum.unity.com/threads/shader-graph-world-to-object-transform-not-working-as-i-expected.589948/#post-4544725

    I really love this tutorial. It teaches me very useful knowledge in using Shader Graph.
    I'm both a Unity enthusiast and a translator, so I wonder if I could make Chinese subtitles for this video and share the subtitled one to Chinese video site?
    You know, for some reason, Unity learners in China can't visit TH-cam. And some learners don't have sufficient English capability to acquire such knowledge. So I think I could give some help for sharing your wonderful tutorial to Unity enthusiasts in China like me. :)

    At the start of the video, you already had a Shader Material setup but did not go through how that was done. The question, is that shader graph for the objects in the scene?

    Hi there, I just subscribed to your channel, pretty cool stuff!
    Could you please help me, I need to create a 2D water reflaction and I can't make it work. I just follow one of your tutorials, but it just don't work on 2D.

    • @AETutsVids
      @AETutsVids  5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Thanks for the sub ;) , to be honest I never tried to create any 2D shader, but I would Imagine that you can use shader graph for that, and in the newer versions of Unity there is a 2D node I believe, so are you trying to do reflection of refraction ?

    • @leonardofraga5130
      @leonardofraga5130 5 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@AETutsVids I think I want reflection. It's somethings like this th-cam.com/video/obJnF8J9gTk/w-d-xo.html
      I'm using the newest version, actually still in beta. I'm using shader graph, I just followed one of your tutorials about reflection, and was trying to tweek things and I couldn't get it to work. (I'm pretty newbie in shaders also.)
