Everything about this seems Fun. A question, will there be lore of sorts? Be it a few lines of character descriptions or something more like Ultrakill. Also, does the playable char have a name yet?
Very nice preview, the music is definitely giving first level vibes right now. I have no clue for the exact direction of this game's development, so take everything here with a *large* grain of salt. I do like this song a lot, but I feel like it's too relaxed for a rogue-like boomer shooter. I feel like a faster paced song would work well with the "partial eye-strain" and kinda cartoonish graphics of the arenas. This song could easily make for a calm track (if you're gonna pull that sound track style from Ultrakill). Really like the art for this preview! No complaints, can't wait for a 3d model. Honestly like your art style in general. One question (if you ever read this): Just wondering more with what this game is about. What's the general feel of the game going for, with gameplay and overall story? (Love the work! Hope progress continues and gets better and better!)
Heya thanks for the message! To answer the question we were trying to make a simple project that could have been easy to finish at any point whit a theme that didn't require a lot of world building so we went for human biology cuz it was a solid base. For the gameplay the main inspiration was Ultrakill and Risk of Rain 2, mixing mechanics together and it was originally meant to be much darker. Tho as we devolop more the style it went from creepy to Ratchet and Clank goofy. Our focus is not take the setting too seriously and trying to make it as fun and cocain brained as possible

I know I have no real say for game development, and sorry if it’s rude for a request (especially if this is more of a relaxed development), but I think a Tuberculosis type enemy would be interesting if the team isn’t already trying out similar ideas already. Could be a kind of cloakers of sorts like how the real virus can hide in the body. Make it tanky and maybe require different weapons to kill, and *definitely* an elite enemy. Again, just a request, I don’t mind whichever way it goes. Hope development continues well! (Also sorry for the essay lmao)
