I named that bridge after it was built. I believe my husband took credit for the name, but I actually named it. I lived in Searsport for 16 years and loved it. It still has my heart.

To me, this is one of the best things I've viewed on the net. I enjoyed every second of it....(even though I don't eat Lobsters...or crabs...)

Did ya stop in Bucksport to see the Witches leg on the Gravestone, legend is it's been removed many times and keeps reappearing on it.

Sounds like fun! We will put it on the list when we come back this year.

Lincoln was my deckhand on the Schooner Liberty in Key West in 2001. He came down when Olad was put up for the winter to get more experience with other sailing businesses. He was one of five Aarons working the schooners and all of us came away either having nicknames or going by our last names. After he purchased Olad, I worked as relief captain for him for a couple summers in Camden. Really great guy who works his butt off and knows that boat and harbor like the back of his hand.

That's a great memory, thank you for sharing! Five Aarons? Ha! The Olad is a piece of art and history, and it's in the right hands with Capt. Aaron Lincoln. So thankful we got to experience such an incredible day on the water.

No exploring the fort, or stopping to see the famous grave of Johnathan Buck? For shame.

We ran out of time before we had to check into our RV site. I would have loved to explore the Fort but maybe next time.

@@RVThereYetTV Ahhh. Priorities. I understand. Well as a central Maine native I'll tell ya the Fort is spectacular. Definitely worth a visit next time you're in the state.
