  • This is the part where I tell you I bought a window fan from Walmart and you wonder why I do reviews. It's cool, it works, it's a fan, I have a window.

    Thank you for your review! I just bought the exact same fan for 40 bucks (like you said) on Amazon. The only difference is that the company name on *my* fan says EuroStar. The worst thing about it is that it is weak and does not move much air. This is my 3rd or 4th window fan in the last 20 years, so I know what they are capable of.
    Also, it does not have the notch on the bottom center of the housing in order to run the power cord underneath (almost every window fan has that). I understand the cost of everything is up, but I don't think it's worth 40 dollars. Not to long ago, a bare bones minimum fan like this would be about $15.

    My Walmart doesn’t sell these anymore. They only sell the newer ones with the gray blades

    aren't there any fans like this with some kind of built in shutter that you can close allowing you to leave the fan installed instead of presumably constantly needing to install and remove the fan incessantly every time it rains, is too hot, too cold, is too humid, etc.? The fact that there is effectively just a huge hole in the wall all the time whenever the fan is installed makes it not worthwhile to me despite the presumable savings using one would offer over turning the air conditioner on.

      It's really not that complicated... it takes me a about three to five seconds to put it in or take it out.

      A huge hole in the wall? Wtf are you talking about? Close the window… lmao tf

      @@TiffyAlwaysBlissy are you ret@rd3d? can you not read? closing the window requires removing the fan EVERY TIME, just like how air conditioners DON'T work.

    Not going to lie the one from Home Depot freaking sucks. Had it for 4 weeks and still doesn’t make any difference. It makes my room much more hotter. Push and pull air!

    • @MikeDunn
      @MikeDunn 11 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Um, it's only gonna work if it is at least 10 degrees (or more) colder outside. If your room is 80 degrees inside, it has to be 70 or less outside. They work best overnight and early morning.
