Another fantastic video Steve, interesting story about the little girl, lovely chapel. Mario and Molly were a nice addition. Molly was very well behaved.
Enjoyed watching your video, out in the wilds, be careful cuz your on yer own. Church is so nice & the cave under along with the story about the girl hiding to escape the Turks, good on her. Mario was helpful with that nice dog Molly, you may have another follower with him.
Great video Steve 👍 very interesting . Looks like a good walk . Lucky to have been in a few grottos especially many years ago when our Maltese friends would drive us round showing us some fantastic places , now I drive everywhere showing Malta off to family and friends when they are over . Great job Steve , love your videos 👍
Hi Steve , thanks for another `adventurous ` walk around some truly stunning countryside . I liked the snippet on the end of the video about the little limping lassie saved from the marauding Turks by a spider..........
Another great video Steve, never heard of that place, I don't think I would be the only one even amongst some other Maltese people that lives in Malta, as very often people take things for granted, anyway molly the dog looked lovely & the owner seem like a nice man too, today it's sunny here and I'm gonna visit my allotment for the first time this year, I just hope it didn't overgrown like that valley on your video, and that nobody pinched all my brussel's sprouts, parsnips etc, etc; bye till the next video Englishman in Malta, hehe.
HI STEVE AGAIN WATCHING YOU NEAR MOSTA BY THAT CHAPEL,I ALWAYS ENJOY YOUR VIDEOS,AND I ENJOY YOUR SPEECH AS EVERYBODY CAN UNDERSTAND YOU. FOR I HAVE SEEN OTHER VIDEOS BY OTHER PEOPLE AND SOME ARE VERY DIFFICULT TO UNDERSTAND,NOT LIKE YOURS,YOUR WELSHMAN IN MALTA CHEERS.
Nice Steve. I've been there once. Ta l isperanza valley is fed water from Chadwick lakes. When Chadwick lakes fills up the water flows down there and goes on to wied il ghasel.
Hi Steve sweety hope you,re well and got over the sniffles you had on sunday I just loved this video you ve shared with us what a fascinating historic most beautiful place and the story so touching it made me teary and loved the chapel wish I was there to walk it with you it looked so adorable and the friendly maltese chap with his gorgeous doggy how very enjoyable it all was, the sweet cave looked so calm and serene ,I could have sat in there for ever and the name esperanza what a wonderful name
Ops sorry sent before I got to say a big thank you Steve sweety for sharing such an awesome beautiful walk thank you so very much pls take care stay safe Steve sweety and always happy Xxxx 🤗⚘💜⚘💙😘❤💕🤗⚘💜🥰
There's a punic tomb a few yards away from the Speranza Chapel very close to where you stopped. I remember crawling into it a few times when Dad took us there for a Sunday walk. Now it must be hidden by vegetation. I couldn't spot it on your video! I remember the valley before all those pine trees were planted. The waterway was a more accessible and adventurous place for us. The vegetation has exploded over the past few years but I still enjoy a walk mostly in summer.....less slippery!
Mary 🇦🇺 wow steve went to that chapel, it was open and 2 men were there that showed us around and told us all bout it so beautiful, in 2019, my husband from Mosta ,🥰🥰🇲🇹💕💕👍👍👍
Interesting video Steve, and what a lovely dog 🐕 I think the walk is just a bit over grown for us, but the chapel and grotto is worth a visit. We've just heard that there's an overseas travel ban till at least middle of May! But there's been a huge surge in bookings (yay). So hopefully we'll be back in Malta soon 👍 Hope you're going to do a few subscriber meet ups, I'm sure you'll get alot of people interested in meeting you 😂👍❤🇲🇹
Hi steve .Nice one mate another good and interesting video. Nice walk and a bit of history. You get yourself into strange and wonderful places .Malta is full of surprises well done 👍👍
Hi Steve, I loved this video. I love nature. I am jealous of you., you have seen Malta , much , much more than we have. I was born in Malta but living in Canada. Very interesting video, with the historical chapel and the impressive cave. Thank you and well done!
The chapel is another unknown treasure to be visited. Those plants with the big leaves at about 4.30 are the Castor Oil plant. We grow them here in our garden in Bulgarià, but only as annuals. The seeds are extremely poisonous and can be fatal. I believe they contain Ricin. 🥵. Beautiful walk👍
@@EnglishmaninMalta Hi Steve. Apparently quite a few years ago someone in Malta grew many of these plants because they attract a certain worm or insect that produces silk. And his intention was to produce vast amounts of the silk, but obviously it wasn't successful. In Malta they appear almost to grow into trees. But here they die off in winter. Saw many of these plants walking to Bidjnia. Really enjoyed that video.👍😄.
The chapel is small and so beautiful. For anyone who is interested on Sundays a mass is celebrated at 9am.
Thank you ann ..I pinned your comments for other people reference

Great video Steve 👍🏼 The little grotto below the Chapel was very sweet. What a nice chap Mario was too, and of course his lovely dog Molly 🥰
Yes I am so happy to come across subscribers ...And love that place
Good vlog of a very nice area 🚶 🎥.
Been a few times to that chapel & cave when little with lovely aunt Maree (RIP) of Mosta. Can't believe how vegetation has gone wild in that valley 🎄 🌿. FYI :Steve, that 'purple flower weed' you pointed out in the beginning is "Fidloqqom" -their 'flower tea' & honey is very good for sore throat!!. Suggestion : You should get a dog like beautiful Molly 🐶? Thanks for sharing Stephen ☺.
Cheers 👍 🇲🇹 🇪🇺 ©.
So welcome John I really enjoyed it over there

Thanks for the info I bet it would be hard to find now ..
In summer when vegetation dries up it is easier to spot. It's in the vertical side of the valley close to ground level.
*Great video, Thank you. Wishing you all the best! Regular link my friend*
