This is the first artwork I have painted after having a baby. It reflects the emotional roller coaster you go through in that first year when your life changes completely and you have to get to know yourself again. It is made from emotion, without previous studies, without references. Just adapting it to the little time I had in each session and to the emotional state I was in during the session (you know how it goes, no sleep, almost no food, no leisure, no showers...xD).
So it is an exposure of myself, a catharsis and almost a self-therapy! A way to let out, as I say in the video, all the darkness, and all the light.

Huh. My birthmother (and her mother, as well) came to visit the day this was uploaded. That… actually makes this day feel even more special than it already did. Thank you! I know she’d appreciate it, too. Enrapturing artwork, by the way. The variable melds of color give the piece a somewhat peaceful, watery atmosphere. Very intriguing to the eye.
