    This is honestly a collab I'd wanted forever now. Wish we could see these lifters go at it before getting injured but it was still a nice video.

    I wish 825lb at 230ish pounds BW was a “valley” in my training.

    You can't compare a conventional dead to a sumo dead, sorry but they are 2 different movements.

      Universe. AZ Cailer is still strong as shit on conventional - 843 @ 220 bw

      Karthik Ainpudi i know but conventional vs conventional would a better and fun match to see.

      Universe. AZ they probably won't be too far apart there either, Pete would edge him out by around 35-40 lbs

      LOL.. if that's the case don't you think Pete would also go sumo?.. no because he has different leverages than Cailer

    No offense but why would Pete go for 845 when 825 barely went up. There was 0% chance he was making that lift.

      @alexisvnc 6 ปีที่แล้ว +10

      To give everything you got that day. He also switched bars if you didn’t noticed

      Unless he went “ultra instinct”

    • @cuevas2183
      @cuevas2183 5 ปีที่แล้ว

      There's a point where a lifter crosses the line into ego lifting or just plain ignorance of their own limit. No offense to Pete but this is why he gets injured often.

    • @cuevas2183
      @cuevas2183 5 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@alexisvnc Yeah but a smart lifter would of stuck to the original weight, a bar doesn't make miracles.

    This clip is proof that deadlifts do not build muscle size and mass, edit: guess i need to say i respect the hell out of them because theyre both brutally strong deadlifters but theyre skinny

      Watch Cailer’s videos, look at his back, and tell everyone that deadlift don’t build muscle.
