Puhoy was the first episode to win the series an Emmy. It was "Outstanding Individual Achievement In Animation" to Andy Ristaino, who designed the characters.
The whole pillow world in the Puhoy episode has never been explained btw, it's been a decade (this episode came out in 2013) with no explanation, but Pillow World does seem to follow similar rules to Narnia, specifically that time moves faster then in the real world and it's never stated if it's a alternate universe, an odd dream, or even real to begin with but since we saw GOLB (the big red guy) who's a known cosmic entity that plays a bigger part near the end of the series it's safe to say it might have been a alternate universe (which gets explored more in the Fionna and Cake series). Marceline is half demon. The reason why she was so old in the alternate timeline is because her demon nature keeps her alive but without eating souls like her dad her body will age. After she becomes a vampire she stays young by drinking red colors.
I've always thought the reason Finn immediately forgot about his Pillow World life (aside from the normal explanation of forgetting a dream as soon as you wake up) is because Golb destroyed that world as Finn was leaving.
"A Glitch is A Glitch" is a guest animator episode! Throughout the series there are several episodes made by guest animators that have a notably different animation style
Pillow world was real but no longer exists. The red thing appears at the end of a world’s lifetime to finish the job. The world entropys into nothing and ceases to exist. Probably why Finn doesn’t remember it. It’s what happened to Magic Man’s wife.
Little hints from past episodes, random like episodes when we have random episode adventures, it gets so much more sense as we progress and learn even more.
A historia do Simon é uma mistura de amor, tristeza, miseria, terror e melancolia. Dito isso, ele é definitivamente complexo e bem construido ao longo dos anos.
I forgot how excited I got with each lore episode until I started watching their reactions. It's so awesome to see people enjoy the show as much as I have. Edit: Also for the pillow episode I believe he really had an entire different life in those moments simply because Glob was shown. Like the cosmic owl Glob is a god and is very significant plus like almost all other incarnations we've seen of Finn he loses an arm. As far as I remember though the pillow world isn't brought back up again so regardless if it was real or not it has no real impact on the main story.
That video game episode with the virus traumatized me as a kid. Many years later it still creeps me tf out to this day. Whoever thought of fusing A SPIDER AND A SNAKE we need to have a looooooong conversation on why they thought this was okay to show to children.
You can never recreate the emotional bond that Simon and Marcy has. Honestly, maybe I'm bias towards Adventure Time but I don't know any show that has that same non-familial familial bond (maybe Steven Universe)
Starting with the "Glitch" episode, they start bringing in guest animators every once in a while to do episodes. Some are good, others not so much. Also, I won't name names, but that red thing that Finn bumps into at the end of the pillow episode is very important.
Puhoy is a alternative universe, and the pillownomicon is their equivalent of a Enchiridion Also, jay and Bonnie names are references to Princess bubblegum and Jake

"A Glitch is A Glitch" is a guest animator episode! Throughout the series there are several episodes made by guest animators that have a notably different animation style
Who would win in a fight marceline or jake they both can grow in size but i think marceline has a slight advantage 😮
Pillow world was real but no longer exists. The red thing appears at the end of a world’s lifetime to finish the job. The world entropys into nothing and ceases to exist. Probably why Finn doesn’t remember it. It’s what happened to Magic Man’s wife.
Man the for shadow is insane!!!!
wait I don't remember seeing golb in the last episode
19:38 that wasn't a fourth wall break
The pillow world was real for sure.
Well i can control my dreams. I learned how to do it when I was a kid.
Kid Marcy is in the sun, and has no vampire bite marks. She isn’t a vamp yet
Little hints from past episodes, random like episodes when we have random episode adventures, it gets so much more sense as we progress and learn even more.
17:17 oh my heart 😭😭💔💔❤️🩹 im tear eyed fr kfkfjgjgn
Man I forgot we saw "you know who this early" (big red baby)
Funfact: originally marci was going to be very sick but they had to make it lighter for some reasons, hence the clambulance
The "Puhoy" Episode really foreshadowed a lot of things.
34:25 WHAT THE FUCK!?!? is this real yo i dont remember this happening💀 how did he not DIE!?
Gumball billy oh wrong series adventure time billy!!!!
- Haha! Funny, when I'm from - the pillows are mostly used for bedding!
- They're used here for that too~
A historia do Simon é uma mistura de amor, tristeza, miseria, terror e melancolia. Dito isso, ele é definitivamente complexo e bem construido ao longo dos anos.
34:40 i think it was real. That is glob!
It's Golb not Glob. Glob is magic man's brother.
8:50
Spider + Snake = Snider
Wait.....
Snider = Snyder
It was real actually 😅❤
The first appearance of G***
When you finish adventure time will you continue with fionna and cake or will it be on a poll.
we will do fionna and cake for sure!
Stacked couple of episodes.
13:14 no spoilers at all, but considering we’ve already met Marceline‘s dad, we know that she was born a vampire
I think the bites were just a style choice before they fleshed out her character
It might get explain at some point, but I honestly don’t remember if they do
@@moonchild971it will get explained.
a super sick batch of episodes! So excited to see your reactions to these, amazing video as always y'all!
Someone's probably mentioned it but A Glitch is a Glitch aired on April Fools, it's the same genre of episode as Say Uncle
Simon and Marcy is one of my fav episodes
Puhoy is a alternative universe, and the pillownomicon is their equivalent of a Enchiridion
Also, jay and Bonnie names are references to Princess bubblegum and Jake
I just realized Puhoy episode might be a reference to Ghibli films. Not to mention that one of the next episodes with BMO and Bubble might be referencing Spirited Away
YESSS HERE WE GO!!! i've been so excited to see your reactions to these episodes, and tomorrow is my birthday, so this is Perfect Timing, thank you!!! 🫶
HAPPY BIRTHDAY!

Been sick for a few days, always nice to watch yall commentary and thoughts on my fav childhood shows. Makes me feel better❤
The macalien and Simon episode was originally about finding real medison, so they thought the clambulance was a different kind of mix up and the hole thing was a bit more depressing than the already dark episode was finally, a lot of marcalien stuff was like that
When you guys are done with the series, I highly suggest you watching one of the timeline videos, they are very long, but they explain a lot more details than the show really gives explicitly about the history of the nuclear war and how everything came to be
Hman is back a glorious return
The iconic see this cup 28:40 we all could learn from this i guess
And beemo😂❤ ... nevermind 😂😂❤ 30:50
