　子供番組「クッキンアイドル　アイ！マイ！まいん！」（NHK・Eテレ）で“まいんちゃん”として人気を集めた女優でモデルの福原遥さんが2月12日、東京都内で行われた連続ドラマ「グッドモーニング・コール」（フジテレビオンデマンド、Netflix）のドラマ化記念トークイベントに出席。
　ドラマは、1997年から2002年まで「りぼん」（集英社）で掲載された高須賀由枝さんの人気マンガが原作で、福原さんと俳優の白石隼也さんがダブル主演を務める。両親の都合でマンションで一人暮らしをすることになった吉川菜緒（福原さん）だったが、二重契約のトラブルにより、学校の同級生・上原久志（白石さん）も同じ部屋に引っ越してきて、2人での同居が始まる……という物語。桜田通さん、荒井萌さん、健太郎さん、永嶋柊吾さん、長澤航也さん、田中日奈子さんらも出演している。
　この日のイベントには、白石さんら主要キャストも登場。連続ドラマ初主演となる福原さんは「初めてで不安でいっぱいです」と苦笑し、演じる役について、「原作ではリアクションが大きい、喜怒哀楽が激しい女の子なので、ドラマでも一シーン一シーン、喜怒哀楽が大きくて、強弱をつけるのが大変」と苦労を告白。一方、白石さんは“秀才でイケメン”という役で、「プレッシャーのかかる役だなと思っていたけど、原作者が上原君は普通の男の子だからとおっしゃってくれて、イケメンを意識せずに普通にやろうと思った」といい、「僕は今25歳なんですが、17歳の役をやっているので、ひげを隠すのが大変。1日3回そっています」と明かして、会場の笑いを誘っていた。
　ドラマは、フジテレビオンデマンド、Netflixで同日から配信開始。
