This kit and those drums sounds so beautiful and natural. Jost played here at the beginning of the most beautiful drum solos in a long time. Everything is played on insane purpose and feeling. He takes notice of every hit and sound he does. A few drummer can do so (Chambers). He has already his own style and personality. Fantastic drummer.
man this sonor kit is music in my ears. just everything is great! usually there's always something not tuned perfectly or lost somehow in the mix but just about anything is perfect here.
excellent solo!! i like the way that he play classical set up with no octapads or silly fat snare drums. he is the real soloist. awesome grooves, inspiring phrases, and motivating techniques.. i love it !!!!
...Never really like the sound of Sonors, but his has that deep rich tonality, some where btw a Tama & Pearl ..one thing for sure they are not not birch drums ..
We love you Jost!!

Not a Meinl guy, but those cymbals sound amazing, and his personal set up blend really nicely together..

Nothing wrong with having a different snare with a different sound as an auxiliary snare drum. Creates an even larger musical, percussive palate.
Always a beast, Jost!!!! Everything you do has so much groove! Anybody know what the heck the sticking is at 16:55???? So dope!!
Thanks, brother!!! I'll give it a shot! It's similar to his "split groove", which I figured out. Like the feel of this more tho:) Cheers, Mac Ton!
Muito bom , Parabéns, sugiro o baterista kiko Freitas aqui do Brasil 👍👍
