Hi Leah, yes emus are usually very shy birds & hard to even get a glimpse of them in the wild. I see you have your own channel with some beautiful locations, so we'll definitely check out your videos tonight 🙂
@@bigskyadventures Thanks, I have a lot of footage still on my computer. I did part of the same river over a year ago in the spring, but only saw emu prints in the riverbank. It is a beautiful river and would love to explore more of its sections
Hay thanks for watching 🙂 It really was an amazing trip & like you, we were in awe of it's beauty & immaculate river banks. I love your description...marsupial lawns, love it. Mustn't be too long until your next video which I'm looking forward to seeing. Working hard on our next video here & never enough hours in the day. Take care
Hi Kate, thanks so much for watching & glad you enjoyed the video. We headed down stream from the campsite almost down to the park boundary where the river flows through private property. Hope that helps. Worth the trip if you have a free weekend 😉
Apologies for the delayed reply & thanks for the great comments. We're a few months behind in videos & have some great summer boating trips of all types coming up. Shane's map app is called Mud Maps but to my disappointment, it's no longer available so I had to download Hema maps which is ok but not as good as Mud Maps. Sorry to be the bearer of bad news 😞
@@livin4adventure_aus584 BTW, just checked out your channel & you have a new subscriber...Will definitely be checking out some of your videos after dinner tonight 🙂
Thank you, very relaxing, interesting……good stuff
Well, I’ll be adding that to my list of places to explore. What a great area? Fantastic. Thanks for taking us along
Hi Alex, definitely worth adding to your "to do" list. You won't be disappointed. We'll definitely be back 🙂
Wow those folds in the sandstone at video time 6:53 , that must have been quite an event to cause that millions of years ago.
So good to walk with the emus, they usually sprint off :)

Such an interesting area to explore, looks like you had a great trip.
It's a bit of a surreal experience hiking through those marsupial lawns
