Glad you're back. I've missed your videos. As to the U-Turn thing. Its weird. It will tell you to make a U-Turn and when you get in place to make that turn the app changes to show you've actually done it before you do. The other annoying thing I've noticed is shallow parking lots. If you're not back a ways from the road you turned off of the navigation doesn't like it and will give you wrong directions. A deep parking lot like Wal-Mart or something doesn't give problems but pulling into a 7-11 or something usually does. Drive safe.
I like this guy but as the majority of people, he can’t get away from his slave like communication. My good sir, you don’t drive FOR Uber. You are working WITH the Uber platform. They can’t tell you when to work and when not to work. You are your own boss. Remember that. Love the content.
Welcome back Blake! Missed your videos. I’m driving full time in Vegas w/ Uber. Getting saddled up now to go hit the Friday all night madness. Reach out to me if there is a way to pm, would love to pick your brain and as you haven’t been driving I might be able to fill you in on what I’m experiencing lately w/ Uber. Cheers!
@ 15:16 your GPS "thought" that you had already U TURN. when you accept a ride, first thing you should do before driving out is: see where you have to go. so you will not have to look at your GPS while entering the road and figuring out where you have to go.
@hc3550 Yes! The only genius way to do Uber and lift is to do these 2 platforms as a secondary passive business While you do your primary business. This is what I mean. I drove uber x , green and xl one hundred and forty thousand miles through the whole pandemic In my 2007 toyota highlander hybrid... Until I ran it into the ground. And it was inoperative on my driveway. I rented an uber black vehicle for nearly two months. THAT IS WHERE THE MONEY IS. I SAW $40 surge bonuses down in Laguna Beach area occasionally. BUT THE ONLY HOURS TO WORK ARE 3:30AM - 8AM ON PCH DOWN TO DANA POINT. AND WAIT AT RITZ CARLTON. AND OTHER TIME TO WORK SATURDAY 4PM-2AM.... MAYBE FRIDAY 10PM-2AM.
Wow 🤩🙏🏾 I appreciate you taking the time to share this content. I’ve been doing Uber Eats since June 2023 and have been contemplating if prepaying for the county AND state licensure to pickup passengers is worth it. If you could please weigh in on that factor? By comparison, Uber Eats in Vegas typically pays 40-60usd on Tues&Weds, 60-80usd on Mon&Thu, and 150-225usd FriSatSun. Hours worked ranges from 4-10 hrs but I average 6-8hrs a day. Worth noting, I only accept orders paying $9 or better, never accept if the mileage is under $1/mile, and miiiight do an $8.50 order if it’s 4 miles or less and I’ve been idle for awhile. I avoid the strip unless it’s $20 or better for a single order.
Thanks for the kind words! Jumping from Uber Eats to driving passengers is a big decision, especially with the upfront cost for licenses. You seem to have a solid strategy for Uber Eats. If you apply a similar approach to driving passengers, I think it would definitely pay off. I'd join some Facebook groups in Vegas and talk to some drivers who've made the switch to get a feel for it. Good luck with whatever you decide!
Hey Blake i enjoy your videos I’m thinking about moving to Vegas do u recommend driving for Uber lift? I’m from Los Angeles un employed, what u making typical month? Thanks dude.
I think you would like it here. I’m just driving part time and I haven’t driven in several months. But I could see that you could make $200 to $250 a day in an eight hour period. If you drive 20 days out of the month, you could bring home between $4000 and 5000.
good luck. the market is highly saturated with Uber, Lyft, and TAXIS in Las Vegas. On top of that, its a small town compared to LA/OC/SD or DFW, etc. Often it is absolutely DEAD. I regret moving to Vegas. Should have just stayed in Portland, I made $30/hr on average doing Uber over there.
How many views does it take to get monetized?
You need 1,000 subscribers and 4,000 hours of watch time.

I drove Uber all day then came home to watch you drive all day 😆

Welcome back
That's why use Google maps . Lyft/uber navigation is a mess.
Which season is good for Uber in Vegas? Right now is really hot, I do not know if winter be better for drivers. Thanks.
Any good strategies for 4th of July in Las Vegas/Henderson? I was thinking about hanging around M resort~
Not bad not bad keep it coming bro 🎉
That navigation has been screwy. I’m new to the game three weeks in
Why do you usually ignore surge? If it's close, may as well grab it. I only drive when surge is available.
If it’s close, I’ll attempt to, but it normally disappears by the time I get there.
@@BlakeDrivesyup never chase.

Blade do you have a full time job is this Uber just a side gig for you ?
I’m not working at a full time job, I’m living on investments at the moment. Uber and Lyft are just a side gig.
Welcome back. Driving for Uber isn't very motivating. I drove for a couple days when I started, and stopped.
Hope you are going to do uber black!!! Get REAL MONEY! AT THE VERY LEAST, XL!!!!
Yea, pick up a lot of scummys doing UberX/Share. I'm thinking of ditching my Tesla for a Yukon Denali.

Welcome back
Miss the vids but why are you driving on strike day?
I was on strike for the last five months. I probably should’ve waited one more day.
At what status am I able to see price of trip before accepting ride? Just started driving and can only see pickup
