I did the course in South Africa during July 2024, it’s an experience that’s hard to put in words. A journey full of experiential wisdom. It requires a-lot of discipline and tolerance. “ BE HAPPY”
very nice video. I am a Bangladeshi Buddhist monk.. but available Not meditation place in Bangladesh. just one person Buddhist people in Bangladesh. very bad luck. I am poor monk.I do not coming in Thailand.
Nice video! A great place to learn meditation for beginners and an introduction to stay in a Theravada Buddhist monastery, many students from Wattamwua visit us for a more intense meditation experience. 😇
I was wondering if you could make a video about how many monasteries in Thailand still practice serious forest meditation, for future reference if I visit there.
@@THAILANDEASY_ I was in Suan Mokkh monastery 5 years ago and it was much harder experience as this one. But worth to try it, and there silence is mandatory. :)
Very good video! I am going to Thailand next month and looking for nice bipassant spot. I moved that one you showed us in a beautiful way. Thanks for sharing
Excellent condition at the monastery..attended 1 in a pretty run down centre and that affected my meditation practice quite a bit..thanks for sharing! Definitely a good place to go for a fruitful meditation retreat 🙏
Thank you for sharing! I do not practice meditation, however, I see it might be useful and helpful and really want to go there for 4 nights in late June.
Thanks for sharing your experience, that's great and useful for people who interested in Meditation in Thailand. I'm Thai but I never been there, someday I would follow your suggestion :)
Yes, Vipassana meditation is suitable for beginners, although it can be challenging at times. It's important to approach the practice with an open mind and a willingness to learn and grow.
Most Vipassana meditation centers in Thailand operate on a donation basis, which means that participants are asked to contribute what they can afford to help cover the costs of the retreat.
Thank you so much for the documentary but i have a question I saw in another video that you don't have the right to speak or something like that I hope that you answer my question
Hi, thanks a lot for the video! I am planning to visit this center in November. Honestly, I do not like cold weather and based on my research, November seems OK. Just wanted to know your thoughts about the season. And I am quite afraid of going there without a booking :) Do you still think I shall text them and at least inform them about my plans? Thanks a lot for all your help and interesting videos!
Now I get pictures from a friend of mine who visited the place, that they place extra visitors to stay in small tents, which is great too. You will have place where to stay, just follow information on their website. Novermber is usually a rainy season
here we go for the part 2 th-cam.com/video/tOTyEyWdSho/w-d-xo.html there are no fees. You make a donation after the course how much you are willing to give. You donate and it allows Wat to let other people stay in the retreat too.
This is not the best place to learn meditation in Thailand though other facilities are good. They just teach some simple meditation techniques, not the deep insight meditation in Buddhism.
