    As a RSR/RSA (I’m a RSA) only because there wasn’t an RSR opened up. You get a base pay weekly and any hours after 40 you get paid overtime. So you have your base pay that pays that 40 hours as a salary. Then for after the 40 you get paid overtime but it is NOT time in a half. I work about 15 hours over my 40 (53-56 hours a week) and it adds about $150 to my check and then you have your performance base pay which is a guaranteed more or less $200 on top of that. So the pay is pretty good. And every month you’ll get a “true up” as they would call it if you hit your plan. I’ve been hitting plan and my “true up” alone was close to $2,000 added to my 4th check of every month. 👍🏽

    Worked at Frito for 16 years. Been out on STD and then LTD for 2 years now. Thank God my disability was approved and I am done with that place. The horror stories I could tell you. That place changed so much over the years. Great pay. But the stress and demand is unreal. Grow your route but why are you working more hours. Store managers and back door people treating you like an unwanted guest. I ran a large format. Walmarts and Kroger. With like 3 people under me. Who I got the blame for everything they just wouldn’t do. Let me stop. Cause I could go on for hours about how miserable my life became trying to work for this place.

    Hey girl, I came across your videos because I'm a new hire at Frito-Lay as an RSA first and hopefully quickly a RSR. Your review videos helped tremendously, I've work in grocery from every positive including receiving and management, for those reason I wanted to join Frito-lay as a merchandiser. Your reviews help bring the reality to the job and the experience of qhat to expect. Thank you because it is REAL and any customer service job requires a LOT OF PATIENCE. 👍🏾 Again thank you for these review Videos and keep doing ya thing. Oh yeah my girl and I went to Miami for Christmas and loved your city. Although we had a blast, I still wish I watched your channel before going so we could have had your feedback on places to go and things to do. Blessings to ya life and stay safe!!! ✌🏾✌🏾

    Hi there miss, I just got hired as a Precision Specialist for Frito Lay in Washington State. I was wondering if you can discuss more about that role or if you know someone in your zone that is a Precision Specialist that you can interview just so that I can get more insight into the role. With all this covid stuff going on, the training process that I've been through so far has just been merchandising.

    I just got hired as a delivery specialist, waiting to start. How does that compare to RSR? Everything I read and watch about RSR sounds stressful but Delivery Specialist sounds gravy.
    Also worked for Amazon before this; they don't keep up with their vans lmao.

    • @JayStorms
      @JayStorms 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      It's large format, you'll have to wait for trailer to arrive and have to break down the routes and load them boxes into a metal cart and reload them into your trailer. You'll run up to 14 stores and you can be looking at 11 to 13hr shift for the whole day. Each day can be long and it will take while to get use too. All I have to say is if your willing to put the time and effort you can make decent money & OT.

    • @GGThriveGuide
      @GGThriveGuide  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Honestly compared to a delivery specialist, it may sound easy but not be. The long hours are similar and the loading trucks is similar. The only difference I believe is not placing orders for stores.

  • @mulattoassassin
    @mulattoassassin ปีที่แล้ว +1

    A lot companies don’t care about there employees so they don’t care if they drive trucks that aren’t maintained correctly. Or trucks that are old .

    Boy i worked for Frito-Lay for 15 yrs. Talk about a job that does not care about your live. You are only a number there and made to work even on holidays. We went to performance pay which cut everyones pay. Well a mass exodus happened including me personally. I dont miss it and have a way better life. Dont work for Frito Lay if you like freedom, 14 hr shifts can go to hell. Friends from work who stayed call me, making me laugh cause there is not enough people to run the routes, hahaha. Route left sitting makes me smile. The company should have thought about screwing us workers. I left in Sept 2021 and they still cant get no one, lmao. KARMA, all the vendors in the area know how bad you are, lmao. Goodluck getting any good people

    Can you go more into depth about how rsr's get paid. I just recently accepted an offer, and they explained the pay in three tiers. One was a base pay, then the other was commission, and then it was overtime. It was kind of confusing because they gave me a yr salary at first and then they broke it up into the tiers, but I only thought hourly gets paid overtime, not salary.

      @jhernandezcomedy 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Only advice I can give you is to ask your manager. Apparently the way we get paid is tooooo complicated to explain. It's based on a couple of different things, your base plus how your zone branch is doing. I know that doesn't sound complicated but trust me there's more to it. I start this Monday so I'll have to ask my manager how it works AGAIN.
