    bro honestly and w no hostility in my heart
    I cant believe that as a skateboarder you cant appreciate the context in which these "simple tricks" are done. He has to be hella precise to pull a lot of these tricks off, and we all know that speed is going to definitely up the difficulty (especially when it comes to maintaining style.) A trick doesn't have to be super technical to be impressive and entertaining, and there's a huge difference between having fake steeze and having fun.
    Edit: skids are fun.

    • @saturnvi5421
      @saturnvi5421 ปีที่แล้ว +7

      Just for a lot of us it seems honestly forced, I might be wrong but he just looks like he's trying too hard with a lot of these spots to make something out of nothing. sure there's some really impressive tricks like the drop in on the narrow ledge, the 180 and the 5-0 but its honestly laughable to say this deserves to be in the conversation about Soty when there's Louie and Nyjah in that list.

    • @Phaminator525
      @Phaminator525 10 หลายเดือนก่อน +4

      Dude but at the notoriety and level he’s supposed to be at he should still be more technical. This dude is supposed to be a pro skater. But I can COMPLRETLY seeing a local skate shop skater who is just a really good local producing this exact part. I’m sorry but I’m not sold on style unless you can show great skill with it.
      Also I know he is better than me and better than I’ll ever be but I’m not a pro. So that argument is invalid here

    I see a guy whos feeling himself too much and wants to make every trick as stylish as possible, the fake leg steez bothered me when he started to implement it, it was rarer first, but i think hes become more natural from part to part. Thats why hes so relatable, everybody wants to be a guy like tfunk, enjoying the session and his own skating and also landing all tricks perfect is not barely as interesting to watch as tricks on the knifes edge. If you want to go deeper analyse his last and earlier parts, it obviously changes over time. But as i said it, i like it, now.

    It’s harder to fake a style than to skate naturally. Also if he was doing nothing with his hands or knees you’d say he’s faking the effortless style or that he looks robotic and like he’s not trying.

    Speak what you want, listen to what you don't want. Ninja, you're a clown. Let the guy ride the way he wants, it's not about whether it's difficult or not. The guy rides like that and that's that, he's not a "fake". Not to mention his attitude towards what skateboarding has become today is admirable. It's because of guys like him that skateboarding hasn't (yet) become a marketing competition with circus acrobat skateboarders dressed like stockcar drivers full of bank sponsors. If his ollie way is cool, that's fine! If his 50-50 way is cool, that's fine!
    I repeat, it's not about whether it's hard or not, or what Trasher said or not. The way he rides is the way he rides, and that's that, accept it. The guy was even a SOTY finalist... and that's fine, mate! The concept of what is "fake" is very open and depends on interpretations, for example, for me, "fake" is a lonely 40-year-old guy who teaches kids how to dismantle a skateboard on a youtube video saying that the way a guy rides is not cool. I took the liberty of checking out your instagram profile, you know what? The way you ride is pretty weak (VERY WEAK) compared to T Funk. Envy is a painful feeling. But I'll give you a piece of advice, be cool, rethink the things you say that belittle other people's work, put yourself in your place, and be a little more humble. This is a video of immeasurable envy and mediocrity.
