I have been thinking about doing the mobilty program for nursing. I have been a R.T. (R) for 9 years now. Im qite bored to say the least.
TechT1999 Thanks, going to be a big transition into nursing. I haven't heard of a mobility program before, what is it? RTs are continually the most helpful and most chill people in the hospitals. As an EMT (and now as a RN) if we needed something we could always count on the RT to help
code3kc Today I help a physician I work for with a lady visiting from DC who cut her finger. She didn't want me to leave her side and have me 2 hugs on the way out the door. Maybe its thats telling me something.
+code3kc The mobity program for current healthcare works who want to transition into nursing get in faster, alwast here in Texas. If you have taking aome of the classes within 5 years i can get your nursing degree in about 1 yr to 1.5 yrs. I have not really dug into it for my situation aince I have been out of for so long. I would imagine other schools and states offer it.

I like what you said about helping the physician and that lady. What I like about nursing is you know and use the science, but a lot of it just knowing how to talk to and treat the actual person
