I saw someone playing this in a livestream, and decided to check it out. Boy, am I glad I did. No lag at all, despite using a laptop which may very well predate the dinosaurs. Fun, engaging gameplay with some of the better CPUs as far as racing games go. Items feel mostly balanced (although I play without them, personally). Pretty clear vehicle tier list, but the best vehicles have a decent learning curve, and there's a very beginner-friendly vehicle for new players. All in all, it's a game that I'd be reasonable impressed with even if it weren't made by a single dude within the span of a few months.
Personally I'd like the longer tracks, can't get enough of them honestly so I look forward to some mario amounts of courses so I can just come home from work and straight up run a bunch of laps for fun
