    I thought Jody Breeze would blow first, I didn't care for Jeezy back then, but I'll say this, Jeezy had some of the fastest progress I've seen from a rapper, he got better and better every time I heard him, salute!

      Agreed. TM1,TM2, The Recession and TM3 was all solid. Then after that to me he didn’t seem passionate about his craft really. I did cop The Recession 2 it was cool. I liked that he link back with DJ Drama.

      Yeah and when "Dem Boyz" came out he already had a huge buzz as a solo artist which is why Diddy wanted him in the group in the first place. Thug Motivation came out in July 2005 and the Boyz N Da Hood album came out in June of the same year. So he definitely capping here lol.

The nigga even elaborated on how new he was to rapping (which was a lie) by saying how he didn't know how to write or record. • @ryanr20091
      @ryanr20091 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      back then, Jeezy was right cats were still kind of focused on ''bars'' and if you could actually rap not like today when you get on just because you talk about killing other niggas only to hide the fact that they can't really rap like that. Jeezy was respected because he was authentic and wasn't a studio thug. technically he wasn't ever going to be the greatest rapper of all time. I think he knew that, and it didn't matter to him he was a real one

    • @Introverted-Trucker
      @Introverted-Trucker 2 ปีที่แล้ว +7

      Jeezy had bars and the south had a stronghold. He just pushes that narrative he was a street cat who didn’t care about rap he was just doing it to be doing it.
      If that was the case why would he be pressing up 5-600k cds passing em out. I believe he got money but not to the extent that he tries to portray.

    • @ryanr20091
      @ryanr20091 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@Introverted-Trucker yeah he definitely had quotables like a 50 cent but he wasn't a lyrical mc like that which was cool not everybody has to be in hip hop. He got his point across without saying too much and was really effective kind of like 50 cent that's why i made the comparison they are similar .
      I believe him he was a street nigga that actually decided to rap and his music was based on that when you hear his album the whole snowman theme trap or die shit that's all street shit

      Guwop lost in my opinion he chose some odd songs. He left out plug talk, swing my door, photoshoot, and all his other mixtape bangers. 16 fever, colors, i think I love her, slumber party the list goes on.

    Every video headline is talking about ten to fifteen years ago other than his take on his verzuz with Gucci. Has jeezy done nothing relevant? All his recent accomplishments are what? Liquor clothes ? What is he doing for the community talk that up not old topics. Making the ogs look bad always old heads talking about old stuff lol

    You didn't start gorilla marketing I think that was a young Kevin Gates dude. Jeezy brought them real crack dealer vibes to the damn booth for real, if he didn't do nothing else he the father of that shit. That first CD or tape he put still lives baby, a classic for real till this day.
