My first cook in my foodi grill and my legs turned out great. Used a homemade chicken rub and a homemade bbq sauce. Cooked so fast and easy with your directions. Delish! Thanks. 😋
Just bought this grill. It has produced the best crispy, skin on grilled chicken I’ve ever had. This is an air fryer on steroids really, but it can do so much. It’s was expensive but worth it. It does smoke at higher temperatures though.
They have those on sale at BJ’s. I actually busted out the Instapot the other night, and cooked on it for the 3rd time in about 2 years. Lol. I like the way you operate the Foodie Thingy flawlessly. Thanks for sharing
Oh my GOODNESS!!! CJ are amazing!!! This was an awesome recipe. I was wondering could I share a photo and show you and everyone here my results? Thanks and happy cooking...
I recently bought this for my birthday. I love your videos. These recipes you have will help me lower my blood sugar. Thanks for making them easy to follow.
I made the other night along with the grilled corn on this channel....OMG... beyond delicious! It smelled amazing and looked gorgeous! That Smokey Chicken rub is so good, and the Victory Lane BBQ sauce was great with it! Thank you so much for this recipe!!
Love the videos my man. Thanks for all the recipes. I wanted to ask, how to you clean your grill grate? I find it a little difficult to get the burnt sauce and stuff from the crevices of the grill grate. I usually just layer it with foil, but would love to cook right on the grill to get that char. Thanks brother!
Just got my Victory Lane order in! Ready to try this recipe this weekend!! I'm going to use the Victory Lane BBQ sauce, so I hope that turns out. Thanks for the video!
Thanks for the videos - I’ve watched several of them now, and made some carne asada skirt steak for my first meal on the grill. Curious if you have any tips for using liquid smoke (or other similar type) with the grill? Thanks again, I think a pork tenderloin will be my next meal after I finish the 3 lbs of carne asada.
Great demo! I’m about to grill some drums on my FG right now and was looking for some direction on how long to cook them and you came up first in Google search! New subbie here!
Hi there CJ! I am new to your channel here and I caught part of your live stream on saturday. This is a great channel you have and I really enjoy your ninja grill videos and I just ordered mine yesterday so I hope I like it as much as others seem to.Keep up the great content!
Fantastic recipe! I came across it while searching for this exact recipe. Great job using language we can all understand. Seriously, this was some of the best bbq chicken I've ever had! so easy too! I'm now a subscriber, keep up the good work!
Do you recommend cooking them longer at a lower temp or does it stay tender at the high temperature? I've read that some people on a traditional grill use a high temp at first and then switch to a low temp after and cook longer. Love the videos, thanks.
Do you have to flip everything? I thought the commercial said you didn't. Would it be half cooked if you didn't? Also, do you need to spray the grill with oil before putting the food on?
No you do not need to flip, the heat is coming from the top, but circulated under and through the grill grates. I just moved them around because I was trying to get grill marks all over the chicken. And also no you don’t need to spray it down with oil. The grill grate is nonstick. But, again I was trying for a more crispy charred look and flavor. So you don’t NEED do move it or add oil, but I believe it helps to do it. Hope that answers your question. Thanks for watching!
They will be safe to eat at 165, but dark meat will not taste as good at that temp. Shoot for 180 on legs...and char, there is a lot of connective tissue in there that needs to be broken down and it will be plenty moist
Alright CJ, this video is the last one left. I’ve made everything you have put on your channel! My husband already knows, he’s always asking if “CJ” made these lol
I was trying to find it at a market but it seem like I'm just going to have to order it. Food videos looking good bro. Keep up the good work I'm almost convinced on buying one for myself.
lamond cooper right on! Yeah most of the stuff I use can be found online. There maybe some in store where the rub companies live, but I don’t think any are nationwide. Have a good one!
wait one HOT MIN the spray oil in the bag.... BOYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY stop playing with me!!! i didn't know - great tip !!! thanks - Your new subscriber :-)
Darla Harper Lol! You got me there! When my notification for this comment pop’d up I thought I done messed something up! LOL! Thanks for joining the Crew!
Good video, the only thing that got me was you didn’t clean your chicken! 😫 at least rinse them off and wash them in some water with lime juice or apple cider vinegar. Get the bacteria off of them.
You Rock CJ!! You have saved my housewife cooking abilities. I watch all your ninja foodi videos. 👊
Thanks much! Glad I could help! 👊🏻

I just purchased a NFG, but mine has handles on the grill plate. I see yours doesn’t. Different models? Or are they removable somehow?
Different models I think. You can’t remove them.

165f should be done.
Cooking With CJ thanks I just got minds yesterday I got the pro can’t wait wat oil you recommend
Use canola or Avocado oils. Especially when grilling.
Cooking With CJ just set minds up out the box kinda small but it’s ok do I use oil to air fry
eric Black yes you can, but you don’t have to use much.
Where can I get that rub from?
lamond cooper there’s a link in the description to victory lane seasonings.

Are the Ninja Foodi’s easy to clean?
Pat Max yes very easy! I made a how to video on cleaning the Foodi Grill, here is the link:
th-cam.com/video/0lYPSYGGMbk/w-d-xo.html
This has best flavor! However if you don’t like Spicey , cut down the seasoning.
at what temp please.........
Jeffrey V the grill temp is the high mode and that is 500f.
Mmmm, those look awsome! I'm going to do some thighs tonight and hope they turn out as well as yours.💓

Small Town Smoker thanks brother!
Yeah Man, those legs are spot on CJ.
Going to have to look for Mrs. Renfroe's bbq sauce, as her salsa is superb.
