Miyako is generational talent. Period. Now that you've done 2, you should also check out in your own time the other 4 piano pieces from her debut piano EP, you won't regret it. Take care of the sniffles !
Dude if you haven't been told already does MIYAKO play piano YES! Does MIYAKO play guitar YES! Does MIYAKO play both at the same time.. Well YES. MIYAKO does play piano and guitar. at same time... WELL "BURDEN OF TIME" awesome reaction love your passion 🐺🐺
Fun story with this song. Helloween is Haruna's favorite band, and the two bands know each other. Helloween came to Japan for a show last year. Lovebites' stage manager Sugi told Miyako to meet him for a drink, then he surprised her with Michael Weikath, who _wrote_ Eagle Fly Free. Miyako was thrilled and they had a great time. I am sure they had a conversation about her cover of Eagle Fly Free which she had recently released on her EP. Oh, how I would have loved to have been close enough to their table to hear that conversation :0). Many (maybe all) of LBs members went to the concert and met up with Helloween after the show.
If you want to see a live performance of Miyako playing piano intro and Asami playing piano in the song as well - Lost in the Garden under Miyako piano solo "La Campanella" Lost in the Garden
When a cover picks me up emotionally far more than the original... Miyako may sometimes seem a little 'cold' with her gestures and facial expressions, but the music she plays, regardless of the instrument, speaks impressive volumes. ❤🔥 _____________________ _"America invented rock. @@Ravage-Mike-Reacts I see, we seem to think quite similarly, as I agree with you 100%. 😉 Almost everyone says she looks bored most of the time, but that could hardly be further away from the truth. Her whole body language is just a little different on stage and rather atypical for a 'rock star'. Midori is more suited to this role. 🤭 It's only when you get to know a bit about her and know that some of her thought processes might be different and that she simply feels music differently that you can interpret them.
in an interview she described translating the solo as ' was hard' , so imposible for 99.9% humans, Miyako doing Miyako things xD, not all Miyako things she can do.
Isn’t she wonderful? I hope you feel better soon. I flew to Tokyo last month to see her matinee and soirée piano recitals featuring this, as well as tracks as diverse as The Loner, Battery and Deep Purple’s Burn (my favourite). She also played a full classical piece, in movements, in each performance - two different pieces. I met her afterwards and she is so friendly. The good news is that it was filmed, and so I expect her to release it on DVD/BluRay in the coming months. Do yourself and Miyako favour and buy a copy. If you think she played well on this, I can tell you that she has noticeably improved (I saw the event last year too). And stunning is not an impressive enough word for either the performance or how beautiful she looked. Oh yeah, and she even did a Queen medley, Diamonds and Rust and…. Drum roll… Painkiller by Priest.
Piano, guitar, bass, drumms a little bit, composing, even writing some lyrics-she can do everything. Give her any instrument, few months and she is gonna shred on it like nobody else... One of a kind music genius, Chopin of Metal-MIYAKO!
I wondered if you had abandoned us as you hadn't posted a LOVEBITES reaction for a couple of days 😄 But I guess you've been unwell with sinuses. Regarding this version of E.F.F. It's one thing to be a skilful pianist but it's something else to plan/compose the arrangement. Miyako seems to have found many differing styles to play the same melody and weave it all together flawlessly. Hope to see you back to health soon for more LOVEBITES. 🤘🤘
I have trouble watching any reactions to this, since my eyes are so much on Miyako and her wondrous hands I pay almost no due attention to the reactors! :)) Who can blame me - she looks regal and sounds the part. I truly love the moment where Miyako makes the artistic decision to depart from the original for that gorgeous slow section after the "solos". It makes much sense for the "classically-influenced" emotional build-up of a piece, as it uncovers the full beauty of the anthemic main melody, before shifting into upper gear for the final iteration. Who of the uninitiated would ever guess this glorious tune originates from a Heavy Speed metal band?! They say good emotions help to cure maladies, so hopefully you will be feeling better in no time! ;D
Thank you for your reaction. I would advise you (for a change) to watch the creative process on MIYAKO OFFICIAL CHANNEL. How Miyako works on composing music in her home Studio. On May 18, May 29 and June 12, 2024, Miyako posted three videos (Part 1, Part 2, Part 3) of the process of working with a demo recording. These are very educational videos. Videos are 18, 20 and 14 minutes long. The melody is very interesting and if the other ladies write lyrics for this melody (Miyako, unfortunately, does not write lyrics) and make an arrangement, then this song can become another HIT of LOVEBITES. You can watch these videos yourself, without viewers. Or you can make reactions to these videos. Then, perhaps, you will be the first Reactor who published reactions to these videos on the TH-cam channel! In any case, I think that you will not be disappointed with what you see.
Miyako doing Miyako things ....Magic!!!!
The Golden Touch shredding on the piano! 🎹🔥🤘

Now you are ready for "Frozen serenade", an authentic masterpiece not only of metal, but of all music!
Metal is the new classic

Beautiful, majestic by queen Miyako 👍❤️

The beautiful musical mind of Miyako. Indeed she is something else. I think you'll enjoy her other compositions just as much.

you've summed up very well how to put words to describe perfection ?
in an interview she described translating the solo as ' was hard' , so imposible for 99.9% humans, Miyako doing Miyako things xD, not all Miyako things she can do.
Well, someone has to be the best musical genius in the world - why not a small Japanese woman - The Genius Goddess
I'm cool with that
Yes, this Miyako’s piano rendition is phenomenal. I highly recommend the acoustic version of “Rising” with only Miyako on piano and Asami on vocals.

That is our beautiful musical genius at work, a stunning performance and I actually enjoy this more than the original song, so awesome! 🎹🔥💙🐺

I work during the week also so I don't really record until Saturdays and sundays
And all from memory
Thank you for reacting our beautiful queen Miyako...
I'm waiting for the next Lovebites reaction
and get well soon brother !

Thank you for checking this out. Miyako is the "Black Swan". We are unlikely to see anything like this again in our generation.
Miyako is SPECIAL. she is amazing
She did two piano recitals recently. They were recorded, so expect CDs and DVDs/BRs. Presumably, some of it will find its way to YT.
Hoping you are right! Watching and waiting!
Already have the tshirt, that's a start 😉
I love Miyako 💓💓💓💋
Miyako is also a first-class pianist
A great guitarist with an absolute sense of sound
Actually, it's great as a vocalist
Breathtaking. Your comments were very appropriate.
All the 6 songs from that EP were in the top 10 of my most listened Apple Music tracks of 2023. And I also own the limited signed version of the CD 😍
🤘🏼🤘🏼❤️🤘🏼🤘🏼
