Thank you so much for this - this seems to be the ONLY video dealing with these specific lights with the transformer and all the specific line-up. Made putting the replacement lights in MUCH easier!!
This video is very helpful. Some dim wit installed the light bulbs incorrectly in my mini. I needed this video to find the proper instal operation method. Thanks
Hello thank you for your video. I have a little question, do you have documents about this, it is for BMW to prove them that it is possible because they make me change my headlights.
Hi, it’s not directly related to this video but I’m looking at retrofitting these to my 04 facelift Cooper. I currently have H7 LED bulbs in - can I get an adaptor to plug normal bulbs in? I’ve read that the loom and capacitors wouldn’t work properly with the standard housing
@@tamascsakai Yes I did. My issue was that I had the wrong bulb. There are two kinds fitting different housings. After I fixed the bulb I managed to put in place the bulb and cover, and then the ballast. And finally the electric cable.
@@BelRiose2000 I have exactly the same problem . I've been struggling for the past two days to put it back but it seems impossible; do you have any tips?
@@Ahmad-jq6oi Yes i have tips. The bulb and ring can only fit in one way. Look inside to align correctly. Try twisting the ring without the bulb first to get a feel. You have to rotate it to lock it. After that the ballast need to be rotated in place and finally connect the cable to the ballast
BelRiose2000 thank you for the quick reaction. I could fit the ring alone but as soon as put the bulb inside, it won’t fit. I will give it a try again this evening
@@L663 thanks yea I’ve just been reading about that I’m going to be trying this tomorrow www.northamericanmotoring.com/forums/electrical/256339-drivers-side-xenon-is-much-lower-then-right.html.

To put LHD Europe you put down the litle thing on the left headlight and the right is the same?
I can get the light and ring in place but can't get the ballast pack to twist and lock in place. Any tips? Thanks
By any chance do you know if that option exists on pre facelift models?
Does this work for the 2004 R53?
Is this for a R53 ?

Anyone know if the 2012 r57 has this lever?
Did the same exists in golf gti lhd
My eye thing seems to be loose bouncing around in the unit and I can’t open it up to see what’s going on
There is a ball and socket joint inside the light that can break / become dislodged.
