My dad who was a Christian for 30 plus year died last year. On our way from the hospital after he passed we were sobbing crying and asked God to speak to us and this song came on the radio. The words fit perfectly to my dad. My dad also likes puns and the part that says “ I have joy through the struggle” and my moms name is Joy. This song always brings tears to my eyes because it makes me think of him. It’s totally his Legacy.

I so love this song!!! A bold declaration of being a Believer. "I'm a 47 years old, single parent, black woman, who believe in God, and who lives in America " is how I use to describe who I am. Although that statement is true the whole truth is I AM A Believer who is more than an overcomer of cancer, who speak the gospel of Christ for the forgiveness of sins, I write songs of God's saving grace, and someone who has been redeemed.

We are covered by his blood. Every name the enemy whispers to us, we get to say, covered and redeemed. Because, we are Believers.

I cannot wait to dive into the inventory and figure out what problems Jesus want me to work through in order to make my faith stronger in him, so I can build better relationships with Jesus, my family, friends, and others.

You ARE a blessing! Never forget that. Don't let negative people pull you down anymore. I'm 50 years old, and just put a stop to my parent's narcissistic behavior. It meant removing her from my life. It's very hard, and hurts, bet still...it is freeing, and I know I am a better person. I read a quote that said, "Sometimes, the most toxic people come disguised as family and friends."

I really like the part "I am a child of the Father...no doubt about who I am." I've found my identity in Christ; I'm a child of the King. That's the only thing that I've found that helps with bullying (more like dissolves it). That and knowing that "I am fearfully and wonderfully made." Jesus really is the answer to everything.
