Personally, and I imagine a lot of people would disagree, but I think Piccolo is the worst character at this point in the game solely because he has nonexistent neutral. Having mix doesn't matter if it's almost impossible to get in

@@Malacai087 It certainly doesn’t help that a lot of the buffs to other characters is to help them get in. More full screen normals and more ki blast invulnerable movement options make things like orb in neutral worse

I think the reason there's no rollback yet I'd because maybe, and I'm just guessing here, they will also add cross play through consoles and PC, that would give the game an incredible amount of life, and maybe, just maybe, a new physical release for the new consoles with all the dlc characters on.
That would be great.

I'm on the side of POTENTIALLY one more wave of balance changes. There is no reason to think "DBFZ is tuned to its finest" when SSJ Vegeta is in such a sorry state while top-5 are getting away with tomfoolery. But who knows; Rollback isn't a simple system and projects related to technology often follow Murphey's law during development.
